Remember Dele said the ONLY reason he is doing the interview is because the media were gonna out him for being in rehab and he wanted to give some context considering his reputation. He also mentions he is very much freshly out of rehab which would still be too soon … these people do NOT care about him. They are trying to protect their reputation
The issue here is, if you are properly taking care of and raising your own child, it should be almost impossible for another family to practically kidnap your child. It makes no sense. A child had living with a whole other family and only when he's signing for Tottenham you want to come and see him?
But that's if you believe in deli story. They're saying she had two other kids that are not saying the same as him. It's crazy we would never know the truth tbh.

This is the hollywood lie they made dele believe and you too obviously.. the hickfords systematically etched the parents out for the money.. They could of helped him and not gotten rich if it was truly altruistic
Dele Alli's mom to The Evening Standard in 2016: “I had a serious drink problem triggered by my unhappy childhood. I was hooked on vodka, beer - anything - for a few years. “Social Services visited me after complaints from my neighbours about how I was raising my children but my kids were never taken away. It was my decision to let Dele live with another family. “I knew that was the only way he could fulfil his dream of becoming a professional footballer. I could see he had talent and dreamed of playing for Barcelona. “It was tough to give up my son but it proved to be his salvation. I’m so thankful for how things have turned out.” Alli was 13 when his mother agreed he could move to live with Harry Hickford, a defender with Milton Keynes Dons, and his parents. I don't know what the agenda is of these people in this interview, but they obviously are lacking A LOT of information and throwing out wil conjecture. Leave Dele alone. Let him heal.

They want to revisit it now? The parents haven't said a word. just these two. The 19 year od son who on Twitter calls himself a football scout and talent manager. Dele brought the family to the street. Hence the family are now reacting to dele's allegations. You got to understand that in Africa the parents or elderly ones don't bring out the issues of the children to the public court. These relatives have absolutely no empathy for Dele, in clinical terms.. these are flying monkeys. This is a form of damage control. May Dele be covered because anyone in this comment section that has had to live with crazy and abusive circumstances know how difficult it is to memory recall, how tangible the events were and how disruptive it is to the mind and how burdonsome it is to have to evidence everything when you know what you went through. Who feels it knows it..
Come off it!! From all we can deduce, Dele must have been a very naughty child as a kid from all the lies. It is so clear he was with his father until age 12. I also blame the parents for trusting the hickfords especially the mum. Unfortunately the Dad also allowed him to go back to UK when he should have insisted on him staying with him in USA. If the Dad had done that, Dele won't be the footballer he is today.
@bellobidemi8068 I know the producer of the movie Farming Ade. I went to school with guys who had wight foster parents. They both had negative outcomes.
This is a very Nigerian response, child abandonment is shameful and uncommon in our culture. They are just trying to clear their name since their relative (Dele's father) has been made to look like he's irresponsible and didnt provide for his son.
@sojiogungbesan5547 Sorry, you are right. When I saw the interview, I felt like Dele was exaggerating in some parts. I feel like the family definitely wants to resolve this issue positively. Dele will only be happy in life if he his around his family and embraces his family.

I don't have any empathy for him because he abandoned his mother just because he knew that she has problems. A mother who gave birth to him, not expected him to maltreat his mother.
I don’t believe dele alli. I knew he was lying when he said he would be naughty on purpose in Nigeria. Nigeria is not the country where 8yr olds decide they can be bad to gain something unless he really does need his head tested. 😂😂😂
They are not sugar coating everything. This sounds like a very sincere thing that an English club would do which is jump at a young promising player from minority backgrounds and get their hands on him at all costs. I believe that they signed him without appropriate steps.
Get out of here! Clubs are full of players from minority backgrounds. What does him being a minority have to do with anything? Stop trying to racialise the issue, he was already playing for MKDons before he signed his first pro contract.
Which is why it’s all been hush hush…and if Dele speaks the truth or blows the whistle no premier league club will touch him… it’s a very messy affair legally it’s a sticky case for the clubs involved
@@JKA3000 His mun already told her story in 2016. It matches up with what Dele said but is less detailed. Her neighbours called social services on her because she was an alcoholic and wasn't looking after her kids. She decided that Dele would be better living with the other family because she didn't believe that she was capable of providing the stable home life that he needed to make it as a footballer. The kid had a God given talent but circumstances beyond his control were potentially going to ruin his chances. His mum did the right thing. I'd imagine that the club were involved on some level also but what is wrong with that? Would he of been better being raised by his alcoholic neglectful mother? Just think of where he may have ended up without the intervention.
The only thing id say is that why do they feel so entitled? and why are they not taking accountability? If the Mum wasn’t as active as much as she could’ve been and the Dad was in different countries he’s automatically not going to feel that strong bond to them. Then when you factor in the fact that the other family were very active and probably showed him a normal family dynamic (support, love, validation etc) its no wonder he cherished and appreciated that more thats just basic human nature. I don’t even think its a case of them finessing him for money I honestly feel like he just wanted to do that for them as a form of giving something back. Yeah maybe everything else is bullshit on Dele’s part but that particular segment just doesn’t seem as deep as these 2 are making it out to be.

@@KeirBo you so ignorant of the issues. Dele in his interview said he was molested when he was in England and never in Nigeria. He never told his dad or all this while that he was molested by his mom's friend. He NEVER said he was molested in Nigeria when he lived with his dad. He attended one of the best private schools in Nigeria. Yes there were other kids in the house who were relatives of his father. In Nigeria our doors are always opened for even neighbor's kids to come play let alone children of your relatives. In my family for example we are five children but growing up I swear sometimes we could be up to 12 kids in the house especially during the holidays and it was super fun. Lets be honest why was dele ali adopted by another family if something wasnt going on. But those pictures of dele as a child were pretty funny and that means some of what dele is saying isnt adding up.
Oh you mean Dele himself? That's who owns full shares of the business regarding his image rights etc only one member of staff as a secretary. CAA base also has a big say with his team agents. Dele also owns an entire company on his own and has a joint company with his brother and property entirely in his name
And last thing let’s be real, football is a council estate sport, half of not more of the black English players out here today grew up in and around that.. dele was just confused and ashamed of that and they played on it..
I think we can analyse both ends of the story but the most stand out factor for me is that its complicated and they're probably both right. That doesn't mean much but the take away from both is that Dele needs help.
It sounds like his dad wasn't around and his mum didn't have the time to support him. To them they might think they was there for him but they really wasn't. When you're at an academy you're going 4 times a week thats alot if a next family is taking you to and from its going to feel like they are the ones supporting you. Was his mum & dad even there on academy match days supporting him. Sound like they wasn't. they didn't put in the grind with him.
It’s cause they’re trying to make ends meet and they didn’t want him to give up his dreams … a huge respect to them for letting him chase his dreams not many parents from Nigeria would even let you do that … they’d decide your career for you from the moment you are born …. He should show a little bit of respect and appreciation to his parents

But when dele Alli came out to talk both the truth and untrue then everyone will find means of speaking their minds.
After hearing the last statement I’m leaning towards believing the uncle small small. Also he made a good point how can you take away one child and leave 2 other sibling behind if the mum is an alcoholic that makes zero sense. Neville interviewing the hickfords and dele again makes sense cos Bobby asked the right questions and they need to be asked the same
His sisters were older and not there. The hickfords knew dele not his sisters. Social services were going to put Dele in care and his Mom signed him over to teh hickfords care. She spoke about it in a 2016 interview with the mirror

The children were not taken away from her but she made the decision to give Dele up at age 13 because the only way that he'd be able to fulfill his dreams of becoming a footballer was by living with another family. This is her own story.
No wonder he cut off his dad and his family. His mother's response to the interview tells me what he was saying is true. She said she was sorry and asked for another chance.
Was Dele crying for help in the Gary interview though or was he giving context to what he has been through and where he is now in life- getting infront of a news publication
Did Alli not say that he didn't like it in Africa? That wasn't his problem, his problem was before Africa & when he returned, I've got a big family, no one knew what each other family was up to, also it's possible to dislike 1 of your many children

Uncle needs to chill he seems right though The deli ali interview looks like a sympathy ploy and pr move to get him back in the premier league. I just think he never expected anyone from the family to do interviews defending themselves
Also if Dele Alli flops in the 23/24 season for Everton, sky sports and media won’t berate him and he’ll hide behind mental health and him being molested.
This sounds like a very serious case and the family should do everything they can to bring the case to court. Regardless of where the father was etc . A minor is a minor and should not be interfered with without legal family supervision. Sounds like the movie ‘Get Out’ The club/Agent/FA and all involved in the Underage Grooming, will have to answer to the timeline of events.

When you're at an academy you're going 4 times a week thats alot if a next family is taking you to and from its going to feel like they are the ones supporting you. Was his mum & dad even there on academy match days supporting him. Sound like they wasn't. they didn't put in the grind with him.
They’re still his parents and still deserve his respect
It’s cause they’re trying to make ends meet and they didn’t want him to give up his dreams … a huge respect to them for letting him chase his dreams not many parents from Nigeria would even let you do that … they’d decide your career for you from the moment you are born …. He should show a little bit of respect and appreciation to his parents
If you were not there then you can’t comment! Those who grew up with him know what he went through, these people dont have a clue! I grew up with Dele and his older sister , and he is talking truth!
Even his mother said she was an Alcoholic etc dunno how they feel they have the right to an opinion on matters they weren't around to witness.
@@Nymbusangel yeah! The only thing that isn’t true is that he was adopted, he was adopted by the family in his eyes but nothing paperwork. I know his mum and yeah she made mistakes, massive ones but she has turned her life around and being there for her remaining children and their children.
@shellmorrall4617 yh it was private fostering we all know he wasn't actually adopted these 2 acting like the hickfords have claimed him illegally
Dele's uncle and even the dad never spoke anything ill about him before now. His business was his business. I have never read or watched any interviews where Dele's dad granted and spoke bad about his son.
Not even his paternal family have ever done that. But when dele Alli came out to talk both the truth and untrue then everyone will find means of speaking their minds.
😂😂😂😭😭this is too
Funny
Oml😂
After hearing the last statement I’m leaning towards believing the uncle small small. Also he made a good point how can you take away one child and leave 2 other sibling behind if the mum is an alcoholic that makes zero sense. Neville interviewing the hickfords and dele again makes sense cos Bobby asked the right questions and they need to be asked the same
His sisters were older and not there. The hickfords knew dele not his sisters. Social services were going to put Dele in care and his Mom signed him over to teh hickfords care. She spoke about it in a 2016 interview with the mirror
You already know the major media outlets aren’t entertaining dele’s family.
Imo I think the family that took in dele fed him some serious lies.
@@Nymbusangel He has a younger brother who was not taken away. How do you explain that?
@@RaphaelDawkinsCombatRadioIt isn't that unusual for the most at risk child/children to be moved out of the home but the sibling are allowed to remain with the parent/parents under the supervision of social services. In those scenarios the home situation isn't deemed serious enough to simply 'remove' the child but it is deemed to be within their best interest to live else where. This requires the child and parent/parents to be in agreement.
@@andz3788 I just read the interview that his mum did in 2016. She said back then that she was an alcoholic and battled with it for a few years due to her own unhappy childhood. Her neighbours eventually called social services because of the way that she was raising her children. The children were not taken away from her but she made the decision to give Dele up at age 13 because the only way that he'd be able to fulfill his dreams of becoming a footballer was by living with another family. This is her own story.
Did you pay them for this interview??? Sound like a money grab
No wonder he cut off his dad and his family. His mother's response to the interview tells me what he was saying is true. She said she was sorry and asked for another chance.
Was Dele crying for help in the Gary interview though or was he giving context to what he has been through and where he is now in life- getting infront of a news publication
He actually said they knew he was in therapy and trying to post the story so he wanted to tell the truth before the press could twist it
Thank you! He explained and people are still here looking scandal
If you believe Dele Alli if you must also believe Jessie smollet
Childish logic
Theres always three sides to a story one side the other side and the truth, big up bobby
Always 🤝💯
Did Alli not say that he didn't like it in Africa? That wasn't his problem, his problem was before Africa & when he returned, I've got a big family, no one knew what each other family was up to, also it's possible to dislike 1 of your many children
See ehn as a Nigerian boy, it is common to stay at your friends house for years. But this story is bringing the negative side of it. I most give it to this young man beside his father. Very charismatic and clear. They need to fight this.
Fight what exactly?
Dele says he wants nothing to do with the family again.
They had years to fight for him they didn’t until Tottenham signed him.
Uncle needs to chill he seems right though
The deli ali interview looks like a sympathy ploy and pr move to get him back in the premier league.
I just think he never expected anyone from the family to do interviews defending themselves
Also if Dele Alli flops in the 23/24 season for Everton, sky sports and media won’t berate him and he’ll hide behind mental health and him being molested.
@@FifaForumOnlineeven on the pitch can you imagine how awkward it will be if you tackle him or save his shot. The media will finish you
@@iffysd9864???? I don't understand this
Good interview. The Hickford's have a lot to answer to. They have become millionaires out of this. Very interesting.
the uncle was waffling though out the whole interview
As an African you know why Dele's career is where it is
Why?
@@mcamz8309juju he claims😂😂😂. Obviously that's not true.
😂😂😂
lol why now?
😂😂😂
Dele's marketing team >>>👏👏👏. This interview is good, they are telling people to check the evidence.
Marketing team? Bro he was clearly abused and neglected
Well done for bringing a balanced view on the topic
You think this view is balanced? Perhaps it brings another side to the issue but their perspective doesnt seem balanced
I see what happened when players are 14 they get sent to digs
This sounds like a very serious case and the family should do everything they can to bring the case to court. Regardless of where the father was etc . A minor is a minor and should not be interfered with without legal family supervision.
Sounds like the movie ‘Get Out’
The club/Agent/FA and all involved in the Underage Grooming, will have to answer to the timeline of events.
This is a lie, Dele was not a child prodigy. I watched him play from u11’s with my son. There were so many players better than Dele up until the age 16 when he became a scholar. He had a growth spurt and came back taller and more confident than his team mates and excelled. It was a shock, no way did the Hickford’s for see this. They are simply just good people.
Part of being a professional is being confident that is a lie but keep on
@Ajspecial1000 you can become more assured in yourself you know that right it's not a set thing
@@danielca3 I guess
they CAN NOT speak on someone else's household!!!also this boy is 19 what does he know? Dele's father can speak for himself.
Exactly my point.
These ones just want attention or can’t mind their business.
i dont think dele is lying about getting touched but .. two things can be true
Dele Ali shamed his mother in public at Tottenham Hotspur’s and God’s punishment descended upon him hence we saw his quick decline….and he’s now finding ways to get public sympathy for his ignorance…..This should serve as a lesson to all children especially successful kids in England who thinks they above their family because they are rich……! I have my flaws as human but NO body messes up with their mom especially if they have not abused you in any form……🙏🏼
is that so?
You know that do ya? Mom’s can mess up so much so that their sons don’t speak to them. Money or not. I know that from personal experience. Sorry you gon have miss me with that one.
The biggest factor I took from the Dele interview was that he was sexually assaulted from the age of 6. The fact that they still cannot speak on that and what the family solution was is what makes this very fishy to me 🤷🏾♂️.
But they did tho and they r saying they are hearing it, just like everyone else, for the first time. They can't speak on what they know not of. They even said he should call out the paedo and report to the authority, family or not... 🤷🏾♂️
@@folasheva7again they didn’t address. They were asked about it. They have a 19 yr old speaking as if he was there if you listen to the language he’s using he’s speaking in first person. They’re also speaking on behalf of their Dad, the realist is the Dad should come out himself and speak. These lot probably don’t know everything. Do your Uncle & Aunties know everything that happened in your household?🤔
@@folasheva7also if I just found out my nephew was molested, I wouldn’t be crying about my family being put to shame and caring about media. Firstly man would be heartbroken, the uncles first reaction was to give an automaton and say “if that actually happened tell us, why didn’t you tell us when is happened”. The Kid was 6 years old bruddah!! Hence why he said he’s traumatised
What type of address do you want the family to say other than what they said. If he was molested as claimed then name the person. His mom said she just heard it the first time. His uncle said same. So let Dele Alli say Ms this or that who is a friend to my mom molested me so the authorities can pick it from there.
Dele Alli is a grown ass man. If he was molested why can he go to the police now and file for the Lady (if she is still alive) to be arrested.
Dele never said " I told my dad and he did nothing". He didn't tell anyone except when he came on this interview.
So the uncle, dad, mom or cousins have nothing to address other than seek the arrest of those involved.
Now how do you expect dele's uncle or cousins to break down in tears after all he said about his dad. I won't cry for him too if am his uncle. But if he called and said look what happened to me, then I can have feelings. Not the stunts on television
@@tekaigreen132 is he still 6 right now? If he couldn't take actions himself at 6 then why can't he go get the lady arrested now that he is in his 20s. Common now.
Us as black ppl this is horrible. I’m upset
Why does this represent all of us wtf
Dele is more caucasian than anything.
@@AhmedCSamatarno. He’s half Nigerian.
Stop dragging blk ppl into this and speak for yourself weirdo.
@@themarathoncontinues4211 His bloodline is irrelevant. Most mix raced then venture of into relationships with caucasians and have offspring with them.
the boy spoke really well ....8???selling drugs no iam not having it not that young
It's very common. Even at 8. He was a runner not selling
Nah bro not a 8 bro lets be very very honest
@@mcamz8309no honestly. Drug runner common as young kids in uk. Sometimes as young as 7
@@Nymbusangelexactly. He was given someone to drop off to a customer. Customer will be told "wait at the phone box, a little kid will turn up on a bike carrying a football, give him the money and he will give you the stuff". He didn't say he was running an organisation and he didn't say he didn't it lots. It was just an example of how he was cared for and how people were able to take advantage of him.
very rare yes 13 14 there plenty but 8 what junkie would pay a 8 year old
A young child can't always remember the time or right age but you said that Delli was about 9 when he came back to England. So Deli was right when he said that he was about 8 or 9 when he was selling drugs. You lot should be supporting Deli not talking shit about him.
i’m sorry but almost all nigerians knows its almost impossible to deal drugs at 8 in nigeria even still attending a private school.... this is not america ,so u selling drugs to primary sch pupils or what ,it’s just common sense
The Dad sounds a little too rattled on the behalf of his so called cousin 🤷♂️ trouble in there
I think most people are rattled when they have their own version of truth thats opposing another. the truth usually somewhere in the middle.
Yeah, dele capping
I can’t lie… brazy.
Why the hell are they speaking on behalf of the dad 😂😂😂 the mum came out and was upset about what he experienced, typical aff dad is tryna shift blame and say he’s lying. It’s just poor tbh
