We see how no one knows what tomorrow holds ,today you have a home tomorrow we can be homeless .today we have life ,tomorrow we can be lifeless, live and love one another today make God a part of your life now and walk in obedience to all his commandments ,He will take care of us all. Satan is the destroyer ,God is the one who shields us from the power of the destroyer .God kept us alive through it all, give thanks for spared life, with the help of God we will rebuild.
From Carriacou/ Petit Martinique direct hit to Union Island stay safe God is with us always.
This is so sad to see what my Caribbean neighbors have to go through how are ever going to start over again I wish them all the success in the future I just hope and pray that nobody has to go through this again ever I am from Trinidad peace and love to everyone
Having a concrete roof is not going to stop a category five hurricane. I pray all these folks get the support they need immediately.
There prime minister needs to step in and get them housed and feed
In times of uncertainties, I try hard to find reasons to laugh. It's infectious. Others will do it too.
Sorry but there are disadvantages to concrete roofs
My concrete roof verandah was leaking and roof man repaired it but there is still leaking
In Jamaica the eye of hurricane Gilbert passed over the island ...slow moving...we were battered for over 12 hours during night
Many concrete houses esp in hills were flattened
Happy to see this..but personally I think the Grenadines should have been pre evacuated
Wow...I am sorry to hear these devastation. As a Vincentian National living in LM Florida I know what hurricane can do.
Concrete roof and then is earthquakes to battle with.
Not necessarily concrete roof bit the galvanise can be inside with the conceete around
The man is right concrete roof but be wise and put wood first, then over lay the wooden roof with concrete, doesnt have to be to heavy. Think is any leak from a concrete roof can be expensive depending where you are from, so build roof witb wood first the over lay it with concrete
The last time it was Antigua now union island
