Thank you. So happy I came across your video. I am a LMT wanting to make my own money as opposed to working in a franchise. I’ve been giving myself all the reasons not to open my home for massage and you have shed some light on me reconsidering an in home business.
You got it girl! You can do it! I’m not gonna sugar coat it, it may take time but again its possible! I make a living out of it, helped me pay my debt and etc. there are a lot of opportunities available for us we just need to push through it! Hopefully i can get to see how it works out for you! This makes me so happy to be able to help you in a way! Good Luck To you! 😍😍😍
thank you. currently still struggling to pass the mblex for my license. this information just gives me a step ahead in the game logically. thanks again
I Stephanie- a video i came across just when i need that push to continue as i am about to open up my own home based practice as a LMT and Esthetician! I did not quite get the name of that white calculator looks like next to your laptop, can you explain the purpose? Thank you and wishing you lots of happy clients. May you grow and prosper in your business.
Thank you! Hope I was able to help you! Its a POS machine that helps me receive payments via debit or credit it's called square pos machine. But the great thing is that if you sign up and have an account and you have an iphone you can receive payments there as well no need for the actual machine. You cant swipe or anythung or insert a card but the tapping option is good. Check it out.
Thank you for your guidence. I am considering starting a home-based business immediately after completing school. Do you recommend this approach, or would it be better to gain experience by working for someone else first? I have already set up a space at home but am unsure whether I should first work in a clinic or spa to acquire professional experience.
My suggestion is to work in atleast 1 clinic or spa first and get an idea how the business side works. Because again, if you are gonna watch my other videos. It is always better to treat your home based business like a brick and mortar business because you can have a system that works for you and your clients. Having a great idea how the business works is an easy way to create your own flow of things based on that. And again, starting off right away with no clients may be harder so starting with working for a clinic or spa is an excellent option 🥹
Hello, i am called Steph, resident in Cameroon, Central Africa. Your video inspires me as i have a room which I wish to transform into a massage section. However, i got a few personal questions which I believe you will give me concrete answers. Please how can I reach out (call and message) to you?
I highly recommend that you don't because if you injure a client or they injure themselves on your property you can get sued. Without a your certification from CAMTC you're personally liable and that opens you open for a lot financially. Try renting a room full time or part time. I hope it works out for you. I opened up my own practice with renting a room. Also spend the money to get a consultation with an accountant who works with licensed and certified massage therapist.

Great video.
Thank you
Do you recommend going directly to the customer's home ? So they get the massage in their own space ?
It depends on a lot of things, safety, cost and the effort and how many people are you massaging if you do mobile. It can work but not long term.
Thank you so much
You are always welcome! If you have any other topics you need me to discuss just let me know 🥰
