Yes! You ask if we want to know more about turning art into downloads......yes, yes yes! Thank you!
I would love to know how to do the same!! I have wondered about it for at least four years.
You have my respect for the originality in the art you are doing and your love for what you are creating. Especially in a world where oneself is persisted to change into something else, I appreciate that you as an artist are being yourself 🙏
Thank you so much for your thoughtful comment, have a wonderful day!
Hi Deanna, Please make more videos!!!!
Out of all the DIY furniture videos, yours is one of the best.
I think you would be very successful.
Thank you so much for your thoughtful comment. I hope to be making videos again soon, I am working on getting a space ready where I can film (we moved to a new home). Comments like this encourage me to hurry up and get back at it, thank you!!
Hi Deanna, I am interested in turning my art prints into downloadable prints for sublimation items. My question is, don't you have to remove the background to avoid all of the paper texture that might show as noise around the image? Or does taking a photo of it eliminate this issue? The less editing I have to fuss with, the better! Thanks for making this tutorial, I am interested in knowing your feedback.
Just bought, downloaded and printed two of these beautiful art pieces. Great that you can pick different sizes. Was easy todo. Will also make beautiful gifts for friends. Can’t wait to wait to see what you create next 🤗
Wow! Thank you so much for your support ☺️I’m glad to hear that it was easy to do! I really appreciate your feedback! Stay tuned, more fun projects in the works!
I'm just getting back into art. I used to do art as a teenager but gave it up. You have inspired me.
That's great to hear Suzi! Thanks so much for watching!
Yes please make a video about how to download & sale , I’m not really computer savvy but I can use Canva kinda 😅
I'm interested in the technical part of the download. I'd like more information about that. I love what you do!
i really miss your talented diy videos, so sad that u have not create any videos lately...
Sorry to keep you waiting! I hope to be back at it soon. I moved to a new home and am working on setting up a studio space for filming videos. Thank you for taking the time to leave this message, it means a lot to me!
@@DIYDEANNA i can not wait to see u showing your talents for many of us. I am glad that u are safe and sound...for a moment i was worry about u... Blessings to you and yours.
@@DIYDEANNAit doesn't have to be perfect. Go ahead and start.
I would like to help my mother make digital prints of her oil paintings. any tips
I enjoy your videos! You teach so well, very informative and your pleasant personality shines through! Thank you!
Thank you so much for your thoughtful comment! I’m glad you are enjoying my videos.
This is fantastic. I would love to learn how to do this.
This was the second video of yours that I watched. I love the way you get right to the subject matter and move smoothly through your presentation...which was fascinating. I admire the fact that you do not feel the need to go back and fill in the spots that aren't quite like the photo. I would have to correct and fill in my perceived errors. You made both parts, the drawing and the coloring look so easy. Another great tutorial.
Thanks for your thoughtful comment, I hope you give this technique a try. it’s a challenge to “let go” but also, I think, a lot of fun!
A fun, creative method to generate prints, quirky and unique. I might try that, or just try these ideas with my own art. I think art on paper stock will work best for this. Thanks!
I hope you give it a try! Have fun 🙂
I do that also well sometimes but I like detail so focus it is
Why’d you quit UA-cam?
Can you please guide us step by step through loading it in Adobe Illustrator, editing it, and downloading it so it's ready to send to a print provider? It's really cool art work. How can I find you on Instagram?
Why did you stop making videos
I'm interested in making a digital image that's downloaded. I'm guessing I save it as a high resolution image? Would a scanned image or photographic image be better?
In my experience you’ll want to save as high resolution jpg or PDF (300 dpi) A professional scanner is great to get a crisp image but since I don’t have one of those I use my camera to take a photo which also works well. The higher the megapixels will determine how large you can “blow up” the image for print. It takes some trial and error to find the right settings on everything, the best way is to do a test (photograph and print larger scale) to see how it turns a out. Thanks for watching!
I'm doing oil paintings (landscapes) - does it work to print also?
Hi Anna! I take a photo of the art and the photo is what gets printed. So to answer your question, yes you can do this with oil paintings too by taking a photo of your painting! Thanks for watching.
It’s so refreshing to see real Art
Thank you so much! 😊
Your a very smart talented lovely girl
Awe, thank you!
Loved this video. I have done this for many many years to train my hands to coordinate with the eyes. It is very rewarding and with time the accuracy becomes better. Before it gets better they are funny and amusing! Hope your audience enjoy the rewards of letting art flow. Waiting for more videos from you!!!
So glad you have had a chance to explore this art form!! Thanks so much for watching and taking the time to leave a comment!

Hi Deanna,
So glad to hear from you and that all is well….
I’m excited to know you will be back in the fall!!! You always do such a great job but maybe you could do a Trunk with possible Transfers or something like that. I’m not too good at making suggestions but whatever you do will be great!!!
I look forward to seeing you again,
Marley

Thanks for watching! I’m glad you liked seeing my process.
Hi Deanna. I am not sure what I think of the end product; but I really am interested in trying this process just because I think it will help me loosen up. The more I looked at it, the better I liked it. I am such a detailed sort of painter I really think I must try this.
Give it a try! I used to be such a detailed sort of painter too, with so much stress on making things look perfect, this process really helped to loosen me up! Thanks for watching!
Hi Deanna. Beautiful artwork. You are very gifted. Thank you for sharing!
Thanks for your thoughtful comment! I am glad you enjoyed the video.
The process is interesting. The gap in the flower head drove me crazy!
Thanks for watching Nancy! I used to be a perfectionist painter, this helped me to let go (the gap would have drove me crazy too!)
