@@zzygyy There is so much traffic leaving Las Vegas on a Sunday, that train won't even make a SLIGHT dent in the traffic. It won't carry many people. The train will be better than driving until the drunken fights start. Good luck.
It should have been Las Vegas to Riverside so people can connect to 5 different trains going towards LA so your not waiting for ever like a fool also you have different stop options like including OC, Inland Empire, Ontario, Pomona, Diamond Bar 😅
@KuostA it's a privately owned train system support by federal "bonds". It's not a strictly California high speed rail with different districts being supported. Look at the map of California high speed rail. It's all over the place in order to gain support from different regions of California. Also this train doesn't have " imminent domain " issues like California high speed rail
I thought the same thing. Some where along the tracks construction will be halted because someone’s pockets don’t feel fat enough. They will go into negotiation once more, they won’t come to an agreement so they will just abandon ship (or train) and millions of dollars will vanish.
Complete waste of money. Nobody will use it because by the time they pay for parking, the tickets, and a rental in Vegas...they've already spent as much as on gas. Not to mention by the time they drive to the station. Check in, load, unload, and shuttle to their hotel....it will take as much time as to drive. Better to have seen the money on widening the roads between Barstow and Vegas.
