thanks for linking the report. The funny thing - neither indirect fire by tanks (i.e. poor man's arty) nor the direct infantry support are anything new, you saw both all the way back during WW2. You had US tank destroyers (that really had no hostile tanks to destroy) being converted to indirect fire artillery roles (it was even reflected in the field manual). And assault guns were there since the beginning, and so were the tank battalions attached to infantry divisions.
It's interesting to see how the Russians have adapted over the course of the conflict. There are a few more things I am going to cover in the report because I find them super interesting. The tank raids, aviation, and engineers all deserve to be highlighted and showcased.
Apparently this is the type of content you are interested in because the algorithm recommended it to you. If it doesn't appeal to you then I suggest you do some deep retrospection.

Thanks for the video. Does terrain elevation and ground objects blocking field of view matter in ground combat in this game?
You can break Line of sight with buildings but the game doesn't simulate terrain very well for ground units
@@TacticsWithJoe Thank you!
How did you get the map so clear??
Its an overlay. It was bugged for a few months, and I am notsure if they fixed it.
I would like to buy this simulator. Can you suggest which DLC should I buy?
Like me, ask a few people. The Silent Service is amazing if you like subs. Falkland's is good if you are interested in cold war
