Hi, my name is Jen I am 44 and live in Connecticut with my husband and 8 year old son. I am a stay-at-home Mom and full-time UA-camr with a degree in business with a focus in marketing. Before leaving work when my son was born, I was a commercial lender at a bank. I also worked at Sephora and Macy's doing visual merchandising.
I have dry skin with some hyperpigmentation and fine lines. I love natural makeup looks but occasionally go outside my comfort zone a little bit. On my channel you'll find lots of videos about drugstore makeup and drugstore dupes (those are my favorites to film!) but I also review high-end makeup as well. Same. I basically don't watch sponsored beauty creators anymore. I don't come to YT to watch commercials, I'd watch TV if I wanted that.

I was a gold complainer in the Belle palette, and I think your assessment of why it's not brighter makes a ton of sense. And the fact the gold shade is called Belle supports that!
The Sigma palette looks super pretty. Perfect addition to my Sigma Disney palettes, lol.
I'm glad they didn’t do the gold color, I have a lot in other palettes and I like this softer version better.
Those pink eyeshadows really make your blue eyes pop today. Great content as usual 💕
A slightly brighter gold shimmer in the sigma set would have done the trick and still be very wearable
Yes!!!! Or a pretty lighter blue like Belle's everyday dress.
The swatches of the Beauty and the Beast face palette look completely different than in the pans 🤯.
I agree about the yellow. Alot of people cannot wear a hearty yellow color. I am always envious of individuals that can handle a yellow.
I really trust what Jen says, I feel like she cares that I get what works for me and my hard-earned money.
I actually like that she talks about having trouble blending eyeshadow sometimes, if she can work with it then I can.

I'm glad that ABH released a smaller version of the Sultry palette, the original is one of my favorite palettes in my collection. I am very happy for Allie Glines and the lipsticks she came out with, they are great colors that work for everyone. Those are going on my makeup shopping list.

I was happy to see your review for Allies lipstick , I purchased Lilly and Dahlia and have been having fun wearing both , I've worn them one layer for a sheer look and built up which is my fave and also as a topper with matte lipstick. I think it's great and do love to support her positive vibe. Excited to see her next product launch and I do hope she expands the shades ❤.

I’m very happy sigma didn’t do a bright yellow in their eyeshadow palette. That color might look great on a few, but it definitely doesn’t have mass appeal- and that is something brands need to consider. All these shades look nice and wearable. At the end of the day, I’m buying makeup I can actually use. The brand did a great job of making this wearable while still making it fit the theme of the movie.

I ordered the Ravie lipsticks after watching your YT short; definitely a new favorite that I would repurchase - so pretty and nourishing - and the shipping was fast! ❤
I am enjoying the shades and formula of Allie’s new lipstick/balms, but I am very disappointed in the size for the price. They are tiny and will not last long if several layers are needed for pigmentation. They also do not last long. I have found using them over a standard lipstick works well, but I do wish there was more product in each bullet.

Hello Jen! I am so excited for the Beauty and the Beast palette. I think the mix of neutrals and pinks is exactly what I'm looking for. Also the Jam blush is WOW! 😲😲
I'm fortunate to be able to rock bright yellow, but purple is my mortal enemy. Sad because I love love love purple! Despite the fact I can rock yellow, I think Sigma did a great job making the palette really wearable for many different types of skin tones. I wonder how it works on deeper skin tones?
I must try the Moira highlighters. They just added some new shades to those amazing lipsticks that look pretty. I love that fenty is selling minis.

The blush and highlighter palette reminds me of Lorac’s Beauty and the Beast blush and highlighter palette back around 2017. That was a really nice collection.

Hey Jen! Love you and love Allie G. I did try her new lipstick in the color Lily, but it was not for me. I got zero color payoff and the product itself wore off in less than 10 minutes. I really wanted to love it, but it was not meant to be. If she expands her line, i.e blush, I might give it a try.
They definitely are not long lasting, but I find them to be similar to most tinted balms. 🥰

It's actually pronounced Yuck-a. It's not the same Yucca that you eat, it was named after the wild desert plant which is also spelled Yucca but pronounced differently. 🥰

The Sigma collection is so so so beautiful but I’m always disappointed with their thin shimmers and I’m nervous that these won’t be for me, either😢
I just got in the shade of the Ravie lip that I ordered yesterday. I'm wearing it today. I would say the closest formula to it I've run into is the Maracuja Juicy Lip Balm. I think it is very similar in how it feels on the lips and in color payout. Just the Balm formula, though, not the other Maracuja products Tarte has out.

I ordered all three shades of Effortless lips on launch day and just got them in the mail yesterday. I absolutely love them. The feel is amazing and they look different with different lip liners. I have fair skin and yet Tulip looks amazing with how buildable it is.

I also think this beige yellow shade is for all skin tones , for a bright brow bone , inner corner. Etc. depends on skin tone ! I really love this collection. So pretty. I have also watched Allie since like 2018 ? 2019 ?? I got her lipstick . The size is as big as a cotton swab. I was surprised it was smaller than I thought. It’s nice and thin for my Small lips. Soft glam is my absolute favorite palette from ABH. ❤

In the palette I see Beauty AND the Beast. And is dark blue with white and represents what is perceived by most as perfection-ie the prince. To the right is the beast, the left the beauty. With the new Sultry I see why you liked the rose gold. For me I miss the matte cream. It’s still pretty.

Moira is just such an impressive brand! Everything I get from them (cream, powder blushes, single eye shadows and lip liners) I like. I now have to try these highlighters. That pink one was so pretty!
