You should watch "All I Want Is You/Where The Streets Have No Name" Live at Slane Castle. Ten minutes that truly explain the greatness that is U2. Thank me later.
U-2 was a bigtime band back in the day. Thank you, lady, for this little piece of our yesterday. I think it's wicked cool to see you discover my generations music. Liking your style a lot. Big shoutout from this old, longhaired, rock and roller in the mountains of Gatlinburg, Tennessee. U.S.A. See ya on the next. Peace and love. Bless you and yours. Go with God. Later.
I am really loving these good old songs from your generation, you all are blessed to have enjoyed that age and time, I am privileged to also enjoy it in this generation.thank you for being here. Remain blessed. 🙏☺️
This video was filmed in an older part of Las Vegas, a unique setting for the lyrics. I liked the way they interacted with the crowd, and they have done things like that on several occasions. U2 have been one of my favorite bands in the 1980's,1990's, and during that time they dominated getting Grammy awards for their music. This song was one of their many great songs. The lead singer Bono does most of the vocals, and the other members rarely join in for harmonies. If you do more, I would recommend U2- Where the Streets Have No Name official video. It was done spontaneously on a rooftop in downtown Los Angeles, and it is very interesting to watch. Another option would be their song It's A Beautiful Day. It was nice to hear more U2 on one of your channels.
I've been lucky to see them live twice. If I had a time machine, I'd probably visit them at live Slane Castle, its a terrific U2 gig. They have a habit of unexpectedly transitioning into their signature-tune Where the Streets Have No Name which drives audiences wild. A string of great albums and worldwide hits, Pride (in the Name of Love), One, She moves in Mysterious Ways, The Fly, Vertigo, Beautiful day and more. They even wrote a James Bond movie theme, Goldeneye.

Blessings from Ireland my sister, my big suster passed away at 46 just over a week ago and the only song she ever liked of U2 (I'm the fan) but U2's 'Ground Beneath Her Feet' was our song, cannot believe she has gone, she was the closest thing to a mother i had as she stepped up once my mother and my father died at 56 and 57 respectively, my brother Michael took an od of his wifes antidepressants in 2020, my antie Joan 2020, my grandmother 2020, everything i love has been taken away and I'm only 33, sometimes i think i should follow my brother but i have a family to look after and i am a coward but this pain is just overwhelming and i have nobody left outside my own house i love, it is not proper for an Irish Traveller bloke to talk about feelings and I'm embarrassed writing this i just have no one left, if you could i would be eternally grateful, all the best from Dublin 🇮🇪💚🙏
@@shockwavereact that would mean the world to me, thank you for such kind words also mo chara, respect as always from Ireland to you and your family, such a kind thing to do for a stranger, you are a legend!
@@shockwavereact sorry, I was taken aback by your comment, thank you, this song 'Ground Beneath Her Feet' (studio version has power) is everything I ever wanted my sister to know, I worshipped the ground beneath her feet, her last words before she died was "i love you my wee brother" and my heart is broken into a million pieces, without her i have no rudder, without her i don't want to be here, I just want to tell her I love her one last time, maybe she's in this song somewhere, when I turned 30 a few years ago she got a surprise party for me, then she asked me to sing this song for her, I am a terrible singer, if you could have a listen I would be eternally grateful, thank you very much, if I need to find her she's in that song, day by day sister, day by day, hope you and your loved ones are all grand and thank you again for your kindness, I will not soon forget it, God bless 🙏
I already gave some outstanding music to listen to. Here is a band where almost all their music went gold. Creedence Clearwater Revival - Born On The Bayou
