Legit same issue with downshifting and stalling. Like ??? Learned quickly to just wait until the bike is fully warm and really blip it and it's ok. Still crazy weird. Never had a bike do that. But I do still love my 2020! I agree with a lot of your points from another 390 Duke owner, he's spot on. Sucks about your TFT. I have no issues there yet.

I've discovered that water cooled bikes seem to feel they are hotter then air cooled engines because the fans actually blow hot air back on you. Your comment about chopper looking losers. is quite disturbing. I bet they still have jobs.
Sorry for the weird flapping wind noise when at speed. I forgot to button the top of my riding jacket and it was smacking my helmet in the wind LOL

Oh man too bad about loosing your job. That sucks. If you sell it get another TW and do a build. I just got one. Love your last TW build. LOL
