Yes your going to hear it a million times in the comment section Yes it is very common to flip the chainsaw bar upside down to have even wear on the chainsaw bar .. The good news is that small engine shop that serves your small equipment knows what they are doing .. Great video Mr Brian and Tank Master crew enjoy your weekend
That 1000 gallon oil tank probably leaked for a while to get those high PID readings. Hopefully the site will clean up after filling two triaxles. Removing a tank filled with gasoline takes some skilled operators with the correct equipment. You had that covered. The homeowner is fortunate to have your company doing this work since others might have turned this project into a major cash generating machine.
Always comes in three's Brian. Water line n tooling, mud flaps, $14,000 trans. Time for a playday bro !!! Happy bday Mike and congratulations Sam on your own place, and the empty nest Brian.😃 (threes👍)
Thanks for video & content, Brian. Sorry for your troubles. Ole Murphy’s Law is in effect for sure. Hopefully life evens out for you by the next video. Like Ryan from Victory says “EEEEAAASY MONEY”, which of course is NEVER easy.
While driving through Bethel my brain said "I know where that is" but couldn't place the quarry till you pulled into the lot. I recognized the driveway and that scale building right away. It's on the south side of Rt 17b between the Monticello racetrack and Bethel. As I recall, the sign out front doesn't mention exactly what's up the road.... maybe something about materials with the company name? BTW, check the rest of your mudflaps for future DOT stops. It seems that NYS uses a formula rather than a hard number of inches like other states. (6" - 12" high) As I read it. looks like they want protection at a 22 degree angle from the bottom of the tire to the bottom of the hanging flap, based on the distance the flap is mounted behind the wheel. Rough rule of thumb is 1/3 of the tire total height if you kick the flap against the tire. In the case of a 40 inch tire, that's 13 inches off the ground when the flap is against the tire... and probably around 10 inches hanging down straight. You may want to get a clarification from the local police or DOT on that.
wow you could have had some cake and ice cream for Mikey for his birthday 🎂🍧also some day it be a cool road trip to take us to where they take the contaminated dirt snd show what they do with it 😁
Reminded me of having the Gas Free engineer checking tanks and voids when we were in the shipyard. Very hazardous activity unless you follow procedures
another great video brian you and the guys always do a great job plus you go out of your way to help the cystomer even with things that are not your responseability to do love you guys keep up the great work
Happy Birtday Mikey . As a veiwer just wanted say thank you i have learned from the videos . Your family & all your staff are such hard working people . Above all your family & staff truly care about helping others . Also love Red Shirt Friday
I remember driving down the highway and a huge dump truck ahead of me was way overloaded with gravel and no tarp he was throwing gravel all over the road and was driving like a nut to get away before somebody stopped him.
That's NY state police. They don't fool around. I have seen them issue a ticket for "blocked vision" over one of those air fresheners hanging from a mirror. They do the same thing in tourist season (lots of old hippies) for hanging a dream catcher or peace sign on the mirror.
Happy birthday Mike. Why would a house have a fuel tank in the ground. I'm thinking of like gasoline in your car kind. But glad to see you a little longer show always nice. And I can only imagine what kind of deal you gave the lady to do that for her. At least she said she didn't have the money more than likely before you started instead of you doing it and never paying you. Hope your shoulder is doing better too.
Great question... and in my experience insurance companies are slack with that kind of enforcement. Lived in my home 47 years and never had them inspect anything. My neighbor has been there well over 50 years and had them come in twice about tall trees that are too close.
Kinda late now. My industry uses vacuum septic trucks. Since covid the price has jumped as high as 100 thousand dollars. A code tank could be higher. A used truck be around 150.00 for a good one. Trucks in California could be a good deal because anything before and up to 2010 is not emissions compliant. CARB won't let you register them again .have to sell out of state.
Shouldn’t the seller of a truck be responsible for it being street legal in the state in which it was sold? You could ask the seller to pay the ticket and towing. It’s worth a shot. Were the mud flap size requirements the same then as now?
How long does the mud flap have to be? Next time call your mechanic or have one of the kids change the mud flap tight on site. It will save thousands on tows. The E brake thing is bullshit also. If it holds at time of inspection then they can’t do shit. People need to start fighting those pricks.
would be nice to have a number and where they measure from. I suspect they run them on the high side because too low gets them caught in the snow and tears them off when you back up. Yeah, backing into a snowbank (or dirt pile) is a real thing with trucks.
@@rupe53 I get it if it shows 1/2 the tire from the middle. I have been around class 8 trucks and was a certified state inspector. Never had I heard of a mud flap being too short. Again unless it is showing from the middle of the tire up. NYDOT is fucking ridiculous.
@@richb1128 I found the regulation where it said roughly 1/3 if you push the flap up to the tire, which translates to about 10 inches on a 30-inch tire and 13 inches on a 40-inch tire. Obviously, it's closer to the ground when it hangs free. The wording actually spells out a formula stating the angle from the road behind the tire to the bottom of the free hanging flap will be 22 degrees to prevent debris from being thrown. I also found that NY isn't the only exception with crazy rules.
Brian Craig Sammy Mikey Korey the girls in the office you guys do good work Craig I think you're a little nuts buddy I will be scared if I had a saw in to gas tank you and your dad did not show any fair at all least you found a quarry close the job site did you get dirt do you take the terminated dirt out of the ground
I have a neighbor (artist type) who scrounges all sorts of industrial stuff like that and makes interesting displays in his yard. He must have a dozen early fuel dispensers plus older tractors, bumpers welded into robots, and even a crankshaft as a mailbox post.

Having the bar on the chainsaw is a good thing you’re supposed to flip it once in a while so the bar gets even wear on both sides
They towed the truck over mudflaps that's freaking insane.
Got me for one lug nut.

Great job Bri. and the boys happy birthday to Mike. Another find job by tank Masters Enviromental.
The nice thing about buying those tools is that you will never need them again

Hey Brian, Don't you wish you could be like Ryan from Victory, No mudflaps at all on quad axle in Wisconsin. Happy Birthday Mikey !!!!!
glad to see your video brain thank you for sharing ! I can't wait to see your next one! that graze for what the NYDOT did wow ! keep up the good work

Hey Brian, glad to see you guys again. Looks like them. Gas tanks are pretty dangerous. Be safe.

Sounds like the dot there is a profit center, sheesh.

Chain saw bar needs to flip from time to time to evenly wear , chain stays the same direction
Brain did the engine and transmission a miss match from factory?

looks like the land Linda lives on was a farm years ago Not uncommon for a farm to have Gas or Diesel fuel stored on the farm
@@rogerstlaurent8704 Exactly! That area (Bethel) is loaded with dairy cows and farms growing feed for cows.
Brian a question in the UK if one has trees within 3 metres of your home your insurance is increased is it the same in the US?

Why are you having gas tanks on residential property. Seems very dangerous. Love the videos
common on farms for filling tractors
What ever happened to buying your own vac truck?

They actually put that on the owner / driver to know what's legal where they operate.
