Man you solved my main issue on the first try. I don’t know why I didn’t think of using the house fan and letting it do the work. My house was noticeably cooler in like 20 minutes. I’m glad your video was the first that popped up to my search and I didn’t have to waste time. I’ve already tried all the fans, blowing air out etc etc. Nothing worked till now. So thanks for the detailed run through and the reasons WHY it works. My family appreciates it a ton. Hope yours is well
thanks for the video, i got a big 12000 window air conditioner that cools our living room off really well, but the kitchen and bathroom are always hot, ill give this a try.
hanks for sharing your experience- very useful info. You did a good job here. Like they always say, "It's not the heat it's the humidity." The results you got are not too bad at all...The key was that dehumidifier in the basement and the whole house fan. Well done. I've got a dehumidifier in my basement too and I use it for the exact same reason in the summertime. It significantly increases the comfort level, and greatly helps the ac work. Good luck in the future with the whole "waiting for parts and service" conundrum that seems to control us all.
Yes, it got fixed eventually. Inverter systems are not only more efficient they are more comfortable. The temperature tends to remain constant rather than having hot/cold swings.
I see what you’re trying to do with the little air conditioner, but you’re better off just cooling one room like your master bedroom at least that room can come down to temperature and watch TV in there or the living room, and lay on the sofa in there but to even suggest that it’s doing anything for the whole house is really like Using a tissue to absorb a gallon of water. I don’t know what other similarity I could use there are so many. Somehow it’s human nature to try to believe that something is actually doing something when it’s really not. Great effort though.

Did you get your main central ac fixed? How do you like the inverter system? Do you like it better than a regular single stage unit?

I reported what happened. You be the judge.
