How To Build a Fishing Rod - Part 2 of 2 - From Butt to Tip-Top

This is part two of a two part series. Part one shows how to build a home made machine for wrapping your guides with thread. This is NOT the only way to build a machine of this type. Use your imagination and build to suit. If you can create tension on the thread and just hold the rod in hand you don't need a machine at all, just practice. A few fly tiers in the past didn't even use a vice and tied absolutely beautiful Atlantic Salmon flies. Use your imagination.
This video shows in detail installing handles, a rod seats, wrapping guides, installing a tip-top and much more. Tony Amato is NOT a self-proclaimed expert at rod building and this is the first time he has built a rod from start to finish. Is there a right or wrong way to build a rod?
