I was in Salem Massachusetts and from what I learned from the museum was all those poor innocent people were falsely accused of witchcraft. So it taught me a powerful lesson. And that is don't judge a book by it's cover and another famous one I know is, Do not judge lest you be judged.
You only took part of the quote. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. "Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother's eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye.
It is time to remember and reflect on the crimes the Puritans committed in Essex County Mass. in 1692, how they unjustly accused and murdered by hanging so many of our people, Salem will never be forgotten or forgiven. We offer a prayer to our Lord Ahriman and enter into the rituals of blood, salt and water in remembrance. Blessed be.
I learned more at the town hall live action. It was very informative but felt rushed. 1st half of show is wax figures with lighting. If you’re wanting the basics you’ll get it and a sticker for vendor discounts. Don’t expect too much but it’s a good warmup to the history. If you’re wanting some relics and the way people lived get the trolley and visit house of 7gables and witch house. You get more of a close up during tours.
this place is so cool!! I love Salem, very neat place very historic. We saw a pilgrim parade when we visited. Haven't been there since 1979, wanna go back.
I recently discovered an interesting fact about burning at the stake.America never burnt witches at the stake, only hanged/strangled those accused of witchcraft. However, many burnings at the stake were conducted in Europe & Britain.
Mar 2022: Witchcraft and ghosts? God has a better plan for you! *For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son {Jesus} into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. John 3:16-17 Tim & Katrina/Woburn
Didnt lime the way the lady was warning how to think .. When I go see this. I will look at all of the information, reach "MY" conclusion, and with abandon share ""MY" conclusions. I will not be sharing the conclusions of her politically correct agenda.
