I don’t often comment on UA-cam videos. This is an amazing concert. The beginning of All My Ghosts, where the audience literally comes in early… I’ve never seen anything like this. The entire room is so connected to the music, it’s contagious and so inspiring to watch. It makes me feel like I am in the room. The other comments mentioning that this is a Jacob Collier level crowd are totally right and now I want the whole world to sing Lizzy McAlpine songs together. What a brilliant artist
I agree! I've never seen something like that happen either (where the crowd came in early). It was really fascinating--so much so that it almost seemed like Lizzy came in a beat late (I think they rhythm of her strumming pattern was just slightly different at the very beginning than what's on the album and that might have caused the confusion haha, idk tho)! But definitely an electric crowd and like you said shows how deeply connected her music is. So good.
This is remarkable. Such a clear and emotional illustration that Lizzy has made a complete emotional connection with the audience by crystallizing their lives, hopes and fears in her amazing songs. That’s what music is for!
Why am I awake? Nails on the floor And soot on my tongue I don't know his name But I still taste the rum Nothing there but skin Skeletons crawl on the ceiling They know That him and his aftershave hit like a drug (drug, drug) Don't answer me I'm calling just to hear you scream And you're fading But he feels like you in between I've said too much In and out of wanting us Now you're fading And I wonder who will erase me Who will erase me? Race you to the end My innocence waits like it desperately knows That I'll crash if I don't let you go (go) Don't answer me I'm calling just to hear you scream And you're fading But he feels like you in between I've said too much In and out of wanting us (in and out of wanting us) Now you're fading (fading) And I wonder who will erase me Erase me Erase me And I wonder who will erase me Don't answer me I'm calling just to hear you scream And you're fading But he feels like you in between I've said too much In and out of wanting us Now you're fading And I wonder who will erase Don't answer me I'm calling just to hear you scream And you're fading (fading) But he feels like you in between I've said too much In and out of wanting us (in and out of wanting us) Now you're fading (fading) And I wonder who will erase me Oh, who will erase me?
I guess you've never been to a concert. Artists love when you sing along. It's why they perform, to connect with fans. You don't act inappropriate or rude or throw things or scream while they sing to be a distracting lunatic but to dance, sing along they want you to. Artists say all the time how weird it is to have a deadpan audience just stare at them. I absolutely hate everyone filming or taking photos but dancing and singing is the point. I've been to so many amazing concerts I'm in my 40s and the best time I've ever had at a show was taking my daughter to Billie Eilish's When We All Fall Asleep tour in 2019 for her 10th birthday. The entire audience was jumping and singing together. The energy was insane. It wouldn't be the same if people didn't sing. Of course there are performers like vocalists that you won't sing over but some are sing along type performances. I hope maybe you'll go to a show and experience it before counting it out completely

this is some jacob collier level crowd 😭😭😭 they’re harmonising with her?!!
And I just came to the comments section looking for that very same answer. They even sing a counterpoint at 43:53. Audiences these days...
@@800pieds it was beautiful too
@@taylordavis4248 I realized after that they had done it the same way she did on the album. But still
In Cologne, the audience harmonised as well! It was magical
@@800pieds apple pie always brings out those harmonies 💙✨
She sings so well live, she´s the real deal!

Goodness gracious. Pure love from every single person in the room. I’d be one of them.
guess it's pure love, when the crowd's completely singing your songs with you.. must be an uncompareable feeling. lu, too.. the old german fan 🔥
Nope that is insane. Let her sing. Shut the hell up

Nothing there but skin
Skeletons crawl on the ceiling

That him and his aftershave hit like a drug (drug, drug)
Don't answer me
I'm calling just to hear you scream
And you're fading
But he feels like you in between
I've said too much
In and out of wanting us
Now you're fading
And I wonder who will erase me
Who will erase me?
Race you to the end
My innocence waits like it desperately knows
That I'll crash if I don't let you go (go)
Don't answer me
I'm calling just to hear you scream
And you're fading
But he feels like you in between
I've said too much
In and out of wanting us (in and out of wanting us)
Now you're fading (fading)
And I wonder who will erase me
Erase me
Erase me
And I wonder who will erase me
Don't answer me
I'm calling just to hear you scream
And you're fading
But he feels like you in between

And I wonder who will erase me
Oh, who will erase me?

So I love Lizzys Music but I never would go to a concert of her, cause I would hear mostly a singing crowd with braces instead of her. What a pitty...
