    I'm not even gonna lie, you saved me a lot of money lol. I was very concerned about cycling water through my system in the most complete and even way possible, and this system completely does that. I already had to by a trash can and pump thinking I was going to need to work on all my buckets, adding hardware, connectors, tubing and making sure it was all water proof and didn't back flow and now, all I have to do i drill a hole into a trash can, and connect the tubing already there to the pump and viola!.
    This system also means I don't have to worry about doubling my 25 gallon system, because I can cycle each side at different times so there's never too much water.

      Glad I could help. My goal is to make hydroponics more accessible. I'll be making videos on my next system this winter. It's a big upgrade. It'll monitor cycle times, water usage, and reservoir levels. It can also be built with simple electronic switching as well.
      Let me know if you have issues setting up.

    Without writing a novel, I had a smile on my face when you pointed out some very important topics and actions that were taken. well thought out and spot on in this hybrid design.
    Thanks for sharing !
    I’ve run dwc buckets next to top spray feed hydroton filled buckets with drain, and full flood and drain cycling channels for comparisons . Now the drain channels were full drain so the dry times were fun to dial in , and what was the conclusion on a multiplicity of observations and considerations ? Your system nailed it 🍻
    Right down to the humidified air through the lower bucket water before going up to the exposed roots during air cycle 😉 👍

      I'll be making more videos soon. I have made upgrades. I made a humidifier. I also built more automation controls.

    Where did you get the pieces to attach the wooden dowells? Especially the ones that attach to the lid?

      I designed the cage, and 3D printed the connectors. The dowels were cut from 3' skewers I bought from dollarama. I plan to make the files available next year.

    Is there a video on this system build? ❤

    • @FullCircleTravis
      @FullCircleTravis  10 місяців тому +1

      There isn't a build video because I reused parts from a previous grow. I'm working on a new design and will share that build. The new design will ebb and flow faster, and it's expandable.
