I look forward to seeing the build! CZ 457's are incredible have a couple myself. I installed a Timney trigger in both of them now after using the Yo Dave trigger spring first, and the Timney has to be the best I have seen so far! Both of them are hovering around the 8-10 ounce mark and even bump tested them for safety purposes!
The 457 Pro Varmint is very under-rated. Highly recommend it. It's a better buy than the 457 MTR. Wish I still had mine, but I sold it to pick up a B14R. I still have the B14R.
@@CokeMk7 true that they are the best 22 rifle out there bar none and they will outshoot any thing on the market. I have 5 of them I just gave my brother one I had six I wanted him to have a good 22 rifle . The very best one of them is the vpt mtrs they will outshoot any of them. Beagleman
I live in In. I shoot at crosley range it is a state wildlife area in Jennings co. Good shooting brother. I have six czs and that gun will just keep getting better with the more you shoot it. Beagleman
@HoosierHunter I know. Saw an old high school classmate who lives in Bedford at Sat's match. He hosts one in Law Co, there's one in Brown Co and another in the Judah area. That means I'd have to buy another gun :( lol

Thanks. I have some Contact I will try once it's fully seasoned. I do plan to get Pistol Match and maybe a couple others, then settle on the one it shoots the best.
Great video. Where did you order the 10rd mag from? I've been looking everywhere. My 457 pro varmint is getting delivered today. I got the same DIP base. I also ordered an Area 419 bolt knob and a yodave trigger spring. Still waiting on my Arken EPL4 6-24 scope. I plan on shooting a couple hundred rounds of bulk ammo then I'm going to test different brands of match ammo. Will be so much fun when I finally get my suppressor out of jail...
Thanks! Appreciate it. I over paid and bought a new one off of Ebay. It came in on Saturday evening and it's legit. Happy with it even though I overpaid. Is what it is. I have a few more things coming for it this week, then will make a new video once all changes are made. I wanted to keep shooting the bulk ammo and wait to shoot that SK Rifle Match, but had to send a few down range and see it what it would do. Haha. Excited to see how it performs once the barrel is fully seasoned. Enjoy your rifle, they are fun.

@HoosierHunter I just picked my cz up yesterday, but the receiver was not drilled and tapped to accept my DIP scope base. Was yours drilled and tapped?
No, it shouldn’t be drilled and tapped. That is just a dovetail. Slide your DIP base onto the dovetail from the back along the grooves. The set screws will hold it in place from sliding back and forth.

i’ve got both and i gotta say my bergara shoots like .1in better but god the cz is so much more reliable and i’m faster on it

Agreed. I think that applies to all the non-MTR varmint variants. Especially if you plan on upgrading at all.

I have the same one and love it. If you don't mind my asking, where did you locate a 10rd mag? I haven't had any luck.
I had to overpay and bought off of Ebay.
I have the same gun, For "cheaper" ammo mine likes SK Pistol Match and Eley Contact.
