upraded from the note8. wouldn't say it was really worth it to be honest. only did it due to changing on a better plan. really miss the haptic feedback on bottom part of the screen.
@@nos145 I hear you there are things that you will miss on most upgrades the trade off is that you get a bunch of things too. Also future proofing yourself as well..
Upgraded from a Note 4 that I could cook eggs on after having it on for a while, which was about 1 hour before I had to charge it again. I feel like an aristocrat with the Note 10 Plus.

I love everything about my Note 10+ except the fingerprint reader. I’d still recommend the phone because everything else is outstanding.
(And yes, I have registered the same thumb twice - but still I get way too many failed unlock attempts).

Hi, thank you for the in-depth review. Wouldn't the back (inner side) of the kickstand cause scratches on the back panel as there is no smooth surface (such as rubber) between that and the phone?
no the kickstand is made of plastic, no chance it will scratch glass..

Hi! In this review did you have a glass screen protector on it? If you did, did the case cause any lifting of the protector? If not. Do you think it would cause any lifting?
I did not have a glass screen protector on the phone. I dont think it will cause any lifting though.

I've read about the smell from Amazon reviews, it is a small matter. Another issue is the volume buttons are inaccessible while the phone is propped by kickstand. Lastly people have is that the volume tabs are flush with the case, making it hard to distinguish either without getting your bearings with the textured power button (I've just experienced this now, might take some getting used to). Others have mentioned peeling of the rubber backing, but I figured those were trolling reviews from competitors.
Curious what you think about the case after two weeks with it on your Note 10+?
Smell went away in less than a week. So it's just the beginning. Buttons are valid points but I dont have an issue with them myself. As for the back rubber peeling off if it does in a year at 15 bucks I can always buy another :)
@@GalaxyTechReview True enough. I forgot it was only $15. I've spent so much on accessories on this new phone, it's easy to forget lol.
I've been using the "Tough Armor" case from Spigen on my Note 4 for the last four years. It's outstanding, The kickstand works as new. I dropped the phone about 10 times with this case on, not a single scratch, it always felt like it softly rebounded off the floor. I chose the gunmetal color, the only downside is the gunmetal paint faded away to show a white plastic back. Seeing this video, I am worried about the Note 10+'s rounded lateral screen edges, because unlike the Note 4 case, this case seems not to fully cover the screen edges. I mean, it seems the lip at the lateral edges, is lower than the screen. Of course the phone design makes it difficult, because fully covering the edges with a lip taller than the screen would mean you cannot easily access the round screen surface at the lateral edges. For example imagine what would happen if you drop the phone and the lateral edge hits a hard surface on a table or chair at an angle. On the Note 4 case, the lip is higher than the screen all around te phone so the lip will always protect the phone when hitting a hard surface in a similar situation. Of course there are situations when nothing but a closed case will protect the phone, for example falling face down against a rock.
yes this is the downside to curved screens, this is also why I choose to pay for samsung care on all my devices 11.99 a month for up to 3 accidental damage repairs over the life of the phone.. I still put a case on it but at least I know if anything happens I can get it fixed, just pre ordered the Note 20 Ultra and your damn sure I put Samsung care on it since the phone was 1299, although with the trade in of my Note 10+ comes out to half that price of course..
Hi, is it finger print magnet?
How does this compare to the otterbox commuter? Used commuters on all devices before which were dropped onto hard surfaces and never let me down. Considering getting this one for the kickstand.
the otterbox will offer more protection (not that this one is bad in that area, plus you get the kickstand) This one will do the job for protection as well though and you get the kickstand.
@@GalaxyTechReview thanks. Just grabbed a note 10+ and debating which case to go with. Spent alot more on the note 10 plus so may opt for even more protection vs my previous devices. May even consider the defender.
So after the past few months, how is the case, especially the kickstand, holding up?
Kickstand is fine, have not had a problem with it.
How durable is the kickback? Does it snap off easily?
No I have had no issues with mine at all one of the more durable ones I have tested.

Got mine today. I am enjoying it however I feel it is overpriced and most of the features I bought it for are gimmicky only. Though I have yet to explore the phone completely
I know what you mean I could have stuck it out another year with the note 9 but decided to upgrade anyway. I do like the note 10 plus though. Very fast, best screen I have seen and the cameras are better than the note 9 of course.
Does powersharing/ reverse wireless charging work with this case? I have the Galaxy Buds and Gear watch that I occasionally charge with the phone.
Found out after posting the review (my galaxy bus arrived afterwards) that powershare does NOT work with this case.

Useless. Doesn't protect the sides.
Not "useless" lol protects the rest of the phone and has a great kickstand in my opinion. lol
