Snakes in the springtime across Arizona

It is springtime in Arizona and it's great to go out and experience the outdoors as the days warm up, well, snakes, lizards and other reptiles are getting out in the warm temperatures as well!

I live in queen creek and I wanna go catchin snakes frogs lizards etc help me out fish and game!

A friend when hiking were hiking and disturbing the grass along the trail with hiking sticks. Since one was bitten it seems like that may not have been a good idea. Any other ideas for hikers
