Are you in need of an aged, handbuilt T-style guitar, and want more bang for your buck than you could get from Fender's Custom Shop? In that case, both Haar from the Netherlands and Nash from the USA have got you covered. In this video, I'll give you a quick comparison of two teles.
Playing starts at 03:40

I have a Nash S-63 Its awesome. I will definitely buy another one
Have had several nash guitars down through the years. All exceptional and Bill is a great guy to deal with if you ever run into problems or have any qujeries at all.
Great video! Thanks!
Great playing and really cool video comparing the two. I have a Nash t-52 on the way. So excited!
Also, that's a nice little stage you got there with the pallet and suitcases! ;)
thank you! The T-52 is so great, both of these are easily in my top 3 of best teles I've ever played.
Well , how is it ?
@@wurst.guitars my haar strat is the best guitar I've ever played. I've played 4k euros guitars that weren't half as good seriously
Nash sounds great. Love both of the pickup positions
I love your amp stand! I had one just like it when I was little, lol
Great choice of track, the pickups on the Nash complement it perfectly but the haar sounds great too
Awesome playing man!
Thanks for watching! I do take the amp stand out on snowy days :)
Glad to see another Esquire-lover. Good talking intro. Good noodling. Nice suitcase-chair. Custom shop?
Thank you! yes, special one-off stack of suitcases, I hope I can pay it off sometime
Kinda prefer the Nash. Neck pickup wise, the Nash had a different in it, right?
I think, Nash sound IS better, but it is even more important to feel comfortable
thanks! In the room, the Haar sounded better to me, but the Nash sounds better recorded (again, to me) for some reason.
Nash sounds more recording friendly not necessarily better
careful with Harr. the worst customer support and illegal practices. Ignores 14 days return EU laws and tries to play the clock and convince you he is allowed to.
Also numerous stories online of return refused in case of disfonctionnal gear.
Oh, that does sound like you had a very bad experience with them. I've only had used Haar guitars, so no experience dealing directly with them...
@@wurst.guitars Can't speak of the guitars but the builder himself.
Dealing with him was indeed possibly the only bad experience I have had in 30years of buying gear. Incredibly rude and dishonest and I discovered after my case is no exception.
It has to play in the balance of choosing a luthier IMO so I thought of commenting. There are plenty of luthiers doing guitars on the same level who are actually great honest people.
Sorry but that return policy does not apply to custom made products.
there was no custom made product involved, I purchased from the online retail store, but thanks for illustrating my point mr Haar (or colleague) with this random assumption so readers can now get a confirmation of what I was referring to. You have no idea which order is involved, but rather than showing concern of a problematic situation like any decent customer service would do, here you throw another immediate denial to reject any responsibility whatever the situation could be, like its business as usual.
