Saw Pretty Boy Floyd for the second time in my life in Sydney at Glamfest yesterday.. loved every second of their show.. thanks for doing this interview.. Steve Summers is a true rockstar

got the first album at a used cd store in gresham, oregon back in 1993 called moondog records. i was a sophomore in high school, and that summer, leather boys was my bible. when bands like sweet f.a., and babylon a.d. got second albums, its a shame to me that they didn't get a second crack at an album when the scene was much more conducive to them.
My girlfriend and I attended the January 18th show in New Hampshire and though the attendance was VERY LOW, (maybe 20-30) ppl at best, which I attribute to bike week in Laconia and bad promotion, it was amazing! All 3 bands performed as if they were playing in front of 10,000 ppl. Now thats what I call true professionalism. We took pictures with Steve who was very cool to us.My only gripe with him is he needs to get back to me on Instagram so I can purchase a PBF shirt. LOL!! Oh yeah, Enuff Z Nuff kicked ass!! And checkout The Midnight Devils, that band delivers a totally high energy show with great songs. ROCK ON!!
I managed the LIONS LAIR in Canoga Park back in the day, Steve is good people and talented. Better than most.

great episode. You should have Alexx Michael on the show. Summers and Stevie Rachelle worked with him for many years, tours and records. Love him every time he is on 3 sides of the coin
totally agree. Alexx is always incredible. my wife has the biggest crush on him. saw him jam with Davy Vain . Jason, if you read this, bring him on and ask him how Summers lost all his money at an airport and how Vinnie Vincent stole his credit card.
@@jimtaylor1531 haha i can relate to your wife. I think its so amazing how he accomplished all those things out of Germany while most people he worked with are in the states. He did stuff with everyone with members of KISS, Alice Cooper, Motley Crue, WASP etc. Cherie Currie always speaks so high about him. His work with her was so great as well as his other stuff.
i love all the stuff that Summers did with Alexx. Shameless material is way better then those later PBF records but i dont think Jason would have Alexx on the show cause Shameless was never on a major label.

Of all the bands in this age and you name Poison as the one that looks like they've mechanics? As a band, they are in better shape and resemble themselves from 35 years ago more than any other band I can think of. Calling them out on this topic is ridiculous and points to you having a personal conflict here. Which doesn't resonate very well with your audience.
Zero personal conflict, they don’t dress anything like a glam band, regardless of the shape they may be in, it was a simple question to a question.

I love PBF and always will, but Steve is a scammer. He scammed me on a meet & greet in Florida. So, what Kristy says is true.
He ripped off many, many fans over the years. All the songs on the debut were stolen as well. Ever see an album without any publishing and writing credits? Well now you have.

I am guessing hat + bandana =s wig or at least This, That or The Other. Bret Michaels school of folicle rock.
It does mean wig, he's worn one since the 80's. He is receding very badly now. Look up actor Vincent Schiavelli and except for the droopy eyes, Steve looks like that without the wig.
Pantera was a glam metal band maybe that's y Jason doesn't like them anymore.

Smh. Painful. Poor Steve. Trying to keep his dream alive only to be interviewed by someone who barely has a pulse. You can tell Steve is trying to keep his lifes work alive only to be lied to and only 100 or so people are listening... Evidently Steve thought this would be a larger audience.

Man, I wish they did get the slot on the Poison/Def Leppard Stadium Tour instead of Joan Jett. Nothing against her, but be better imo.
Why is he never on video? Hmmm. Does he look like hell? I know he paints his neck for live shows which is really weird but...
If you watched the whole thing you would have seen he had internet issues, but he was on video
