Excellent video! I am a Relocation Specialist and Statistical Analyst. The Conway/Myrtle Beach, SC area ranks in the top 25% of American small town/rural areas in my 2020 rankings. It’s one of the most affordable beach communities in the nation and is the most affordable in the top 25% in overall quality of life. Even though tourism and agriculture have a very heavy presence in Horry County, its Buying Power (income vs. cost of living) is still at the national average. Very impressive for such an area. Lots of bang for the buck. I would highly recommend.
This guy knows nothing about what he’s talking about. He’s he is trolling for clients. Yes Myrtle is cheaper and more family friendly but the downtown area is kind of gross. Charleston is not family friendly. Sidewalks are brutal for strollers but the food, history and shopping are way better there. You don’t need to watch a video to get the info.
Thank you Jeremy for another helpful video and the comparison of Myrtle Beach vs Charleston, it was helpful. I considered both, and Myrtle Beach is definitely more affordable for me, plus the natural beauty/beaches, Brookgreen Gardens, and so much to do! Plus I have friends who live down there. It will be nice to visit Charleston & get involved with the Preservation Society down the road so I'll have the best of both worlds!
