Regina is the capital city of the Canadian province of Saskatchewan. The city is the second-largest in the province, after Saskatoon, and a cultural and commercial centre for southern Saskatchewan. It is governed by Regina City Council. The city is surrounded by the Rural Municipality of Sherwood No. 159.

Nice driving tour. Thanks for sharing what the place looks like in actuality. Lots of skycrapers, beautiful and clean surroundings.
Looks like a ghost town. Tall buildings around but no person on the street
We shot this city on Sunday morning. 🤣
it is a ghost city... i live here
It is... its sad
I live in edmonton and this video just gives me memories cauemi use to live there but now i moved tp alberta
I live in the ghost city like u say. there is lots of people in the street but there is no one in this video because it's a Sunday (weekend) morning. normally in week days from 8am till 9pm there is not lea then 300 around the mole only.
I'm from Quebec City and it has a population over 824,000 and Regina has less than 300000 but
Regina have more tall buildings than Quebec City.
Regina is amazing..we complaint for the roads and the weather while being there but Ontario is a disaster 300 out of 365 days of rain...love 365 days of sun in Regina and everything about it.
Ha ha in my country there are so much people that u will not be able to Walk properly in the street.so roads of Regina looks More peaceful to me.
Well, you certainly just helped me make a decision on saskatoon and Regina. Saskatoon wins🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 Saskatoon 2022 here I come Immigrating from us.
Tu devrais plutôt émigrer au Québec, n'est-ce pas ?
to people that say this is a ghost town: 1. this was filmed on a sunday morning. 2. It was just beginning to warm up there, it was april, justifying the dead trees and grey sky. 3. there's only 200k people living in Regina so no duh it doesn't have many tall buildings. Trust me, it's way less depressing in the summer .
Yeah I mean most people in Regina drive because during the winter walking is treacherous so they just get used to driving all year round, compared to Saskatoon there’s also not much really to do downtown, it’s kinda dead in the summer too, you’ll see most of the people outside bars/restaurants, inside Cornwall, or walking around the Cathedral neighbourhood. Living in the Cathedral neighbourhood and being in walking distance of downtown would definitely give you the best appreciation of that part of the city.
Damn the vastness of the places you people have in North American is mindblowing. PS.BEAUTIFUL places, too - by the way!
I live in Regina. Where are you from? Is it way more congested in your city?
great video to watch while being in quarantine
regina seems interesting city, nice place to live!!!
Tzannis Voutsas definitely not, one of the highest crime rate to population ratio in the world. so far 280+ violent gun crimes in Regina in 2019 ALONE. 12 murders in 2019, and its run by drugs and gangs. Trust me, not a good place.
Perhaps it’s interesting, I wouldn’t doubt it....but it doesn’t show in the video. No people, no interesting architecture, nothing to entice people into a good walk with friends.
@@Reminxsce Not for the entire world, for Canada. Regina is only sketchy in North Central. Statistics say the neighbourhood near the hospital is sketchy too, I did have someone acting violent there once but they were kinda just talking to themselves, walked around there a dozen other times at night and nothing happened. Had someone threaten to shoot me downtown once, nothing happened. It’s just North Central that you have to be careful of. Keep in mind I walked around at night constantly in Regina which I don’t recommend.
I hear, in terms of finances it's the best place to live rents are cheap groceries are cheap urgent cheap.
yep. not really exiting here but it sure is an affordable place to bring up a family.
Funny I didn't realize where you were until I saw the giant hole at 4:10 . Immediately kicked in "oh he's right there"
rip that hole lol. didnt have enough money for that building
Yea but kinda a weird place to put a building, ya know?
I grew up in Regina but moved in 2003 - it just looks wrong to go east on 11th ave downtown. Otherwise things really haven't changed all that much
Regina is one of my favorite cities, I plan to go live and work. what I don't know is like this one of transport companies since I am a trucker.Or if you know of another city like that, English speaking with few people I would appreciate it!
Hello!! one question, what day did you record the video. I comment it because there are very few people
I think a sunday morning :/
Wow, what a big city, strange for an European but impressive. I wonder how to get from A to B as a pedestrian. Even if you take a bus, this is certainly a difficult business.
Jürgen Gärtner I used to live in regina. It actually isn’t that big. If you compare it to some of the other capitals, Calgary, and Toronto are much bigger.
Jürgen Gärtner Strange for an European but impressive?
There’s plenty of big cities throughout every European country.
I’m not sure what you mean.
Regina has less than 300000 of population . My city is Quebec City and has a population of 824000.
It doesn't look like a pedestrian friendly city like in many euro cities, or Toronto, Montréal. or Vancouver.
As a pedestrian in Regina I can say that it’s not too pedestrian friendly there are busses but still it’s not too great but most things are cheap here if you can deal with walking being a pain in the ass
Great video
why did you pass some red lights?
Any supply chain management job opportunities are there in Regina?
whoa! look at the sky.. what on earth is going on there..
Land of the living skies!
just another day
Mostly toxic hydrogen sulphite from the Coop oil refinery, life expectancy here is not long.
@@SAGERODS250REM Filter your water or better yet buy it. The air quality feels better near the outer neighbourhoods, I noticed this while living there but you just explained why.
II grew up in Regina. Grew up in Old Lakeview. Went to Lakeview Elementary. Went to Luther College (although, most of my friends went to Sheldon). Went to University of Regina. Some of my fondest memories are in Regina. My parents still live in Regina. Some of my best friends and family are buried in Regina. But Regina is a shithole. Get out more; you'll see; you can do better.
Its actually not that bad .......... just the places u went and the shots you took, you shoudlve went at night
What camera is this? , I like the aspect ratio a lot. , your videos are like driving along with you. When you hit that one ballard area, it was like ," uh oh what did I get my self into time", Great stuff! Thanks for using your turn signals .
Nice video,🌷🌹🌻🌾🌳🌱🌲☀️ this is a creative video & it is very enlightening.
My favorite channel💕,really! Thanks

Regina + Saskatchewan
Regina looks a little like Ottawa but much quieter
Que soledad tan bärbara. siempre es así?
Why are the streets empty? Are there like no people or pedestrian in Canada?
We shot this film on sunday morning. 😂😅
No people as it is early Sunday morning.
The streets are empty cause Regina is a poop hole, you have to be crazy to move there from anyplace good and it's 45 below in the winter for what feels like to be endless.
Travis Odermatt yep.... help
It’s because everyone drives, the winter is so cold in Regina people aren’t used to being pedestrians. Also downtown Regina is boring, even Moose Jaw which is much smaller has more people and more stuff to do downtown, Saskatoon also has more to do downtown.
i live here too
Oh my goodness, it's like a ghost town!!! I am from São Paulo, Brazil, the most populous city of the Americas, I would never see that in here! I don't drive but I believe it would be very pleasant to learn in a place like this. This city seems very beautiful, thanx for this video!
Foreigner Sheep welp I guess to us it’s not a ghost town lol
@@lyfeaskyra1467 Sure! Also I know this is shot on an early Sunday, and I guess even we also may have some quiet traffic on rare days, but it's still amazing to me! I would love to live in a smaller city or even not in city at all! Anyway, Regina seems to be very beautiful!
Foreigner Sheep I grew up in Regina and I also think Regina is beautiful!, but the problem is the crime here is getting worse and worse day by day
@@lyfeaskyra1467 Sorry to hear about that 😣 I guess it simply just spreads around the world... I have a friend who said grew up in Regina, he now lives in Saskatoon...
Foreigner Sheep yeah... but other then the crime Regina is actually beautiful and all that but there’s specific places in Regina you shouldn’t walk in at night because of the crime that happens at night time for example, Wascana lake is a very dangerous place to be walking around at night unless you take a big group of people with you, also down town Regina is scary too at night, same with the Hood area by downtown but I guess if u walk anywhere at night just make sure to have friends with you
I want to live here not bcz it's beautiful or it's in Canada but it's personal I wana comehere however in any condition in future I hope my wish only to see someone there ❤️
I miss Regina Terribly and this is really helping me with being home sick so thank you! If you have a chance to record driving to Sask beach From Regina I would just be overjoyed with happiness! ❤️💕
Wow so amazing you can go into capital but I live so far away I live in 🇬🇧 uk
I was raised here in Regina
I live there there’s Sasktel a bigggg hotel and more it’s pretty cool there and bmo so ya I live really close
This city look like a big one but how come there are less people living here than Saskatoon?
Probably because of the university and being closer to alberta
Nice city
I live in Regina rn 👿❤💯
why am i watching this
Is that city good for newcommers
The rent , job opportunties , weather
And safety ?
SK is a very racist province (my advice as a immigrant from 2000's) maybe look for another province with more and better educated people.
@@rd4501 thank you
Mohamed Elsaid I am a person of colour who live in Regina and it not anymore racist than any other city in Canada as long as your open minded and adapt to the culture your fine or and very good English . They crime rate is hi but that based on per capita so really it more safer here than Toronto most of the crime and gangs are in north central the rest of the city is middle class to upper middle class it also the 4th youngest populated city in Canada . With covid now jobs are not as easy to find as before but you will have that problem all over Canada and United States at this moment . Hope the helps .
@@blazedaze thank you
Why don't they repair the streets?
They do. Constantly. The 40 below in the winter and 90 in the summers tears up the streets. Wears out roads and sidewalks fast.
They do so much. They just wear out really quickly due to the changing and inconsistent weather
I lived in Regina but moved to Vancouver
Great video! I have videos of Regina and the small city life. Your video showed up in my feed because of my content being similar. Regina has the best summer weather! Cheers!!
Yeah, it’s great here in regina, the only bad things may be how cold it gets in the winter! ❄️
@@cookiecutiezz2470 the other bad thing is the gang violence and poverty. But that's kind of obvious.
Great video,,,
Did you also do Saskatoon?
Yes
must be a fake video most regina people play the "experience regina song" as loud as possible on there stereo
I am, I am, Unkle Adams
I'm immigrating to this place any advice
You got your PR
I currently live here, immigrated in 2017. You will love it.
@@Jimizr I got mine
Lucky you wish you good luck 😊
*fugget about it, anyone?*
SoMeThInG._.sPeCiAl yuhh
love that show
Damn! Now I can understand the Falcones hating on this depressing place. I couldn't watch pass minute 3:00.
Shubham💙
There's lots of people! So you're just showing literally just driving? Ok, wouldn't it be more interesting to put in some interesting sites? There are a lot!
Wow zombie land😁😁😁
Abey Koi Rehta nahi kya idhar ? It looks like a fucking ghost town ? No one lives here ?
Why the are not people 😳😳😳😳😳
We only come out at night.
It was shot on a Sunday morning.
isn't there any people ?? Resemble a ghost city
I live in Regina. It’s not a very big city. Traffic is very light in this video though
im the flat earth car,,, guy... earth is flat,,,, 5.000 if u can prove the globe
Is u stupid y’all ppl need to go and check yo brains out fr smh 🤦🏽♀️
I wish there are 1 or 2 millions people living here because I am planning to come here, but it looks like a ghost town, god dammit . I want to be surrounded by people!!!!!
In as less than 300 thousands of population , the whole Sakatchewan province has only 1,100,000 of population and if you don't see lot of people it's because that video was shot in Sunday and in the early morning. Also probably because crime rates is high there.
Welcome to the land where people dislike foreigners, that is why that province will never be prosperous.
R D I dont feel that way I am a person of colour I had a few bad run ins but for the most people have been very welcoming here and helpful you will find racist people in every part of the country not just here all depends on your experiences .
This is Sahara
Where people
It winter and also Sunday morning Regina is a Prairie city so most people drive to where they want to go but during the summer when Its warm you see people walking mostly in wascana park .
Quite a rude name
Haha 😃😂
The city looks so dead
It is a small city tho. I believe we are at 220000 in population
Looks rather boring.
