    I finally understood why my attempts to speak Arabic sound so lame, off the beat.
    Because I usually place emphasis on the first or secind syllable.
    My typical ............[aHAB-ba] احب
    احب- [ahaBBa] vs. the correct way

      The problem stems from my first language. Only re-listening and repeating in correct way what teachers say will re-wire that habit. Annoying.
