Scraping the outer layer/ film of the balanghoy was routine for us to do as kids before cooking but here in America, some Pinoys i know skip that step. I didn't really know until now why. Looks delicious.Indai can you make cassava role.I’ve seen two kinds of cassava role ,one is grated and steamed the other version is the cassava is cooked/boiled then mashed or binayo and made into dough then flatten and put the caramelized buco in brown sugar..
