With Chewbacca coming with cuffs, I'd hope they will finally release the Han and Luke as Stormtroopers...seems logical. Leia for sure. I'd love to see them begin creating NEW sculpts of Empire Strikes Back sculpts of Han, Luke and Leia.

I just hope they give us Empire versions of Han, Luke, and Leia. I've especially been wanting a 1/12 scale import style Bespin Luke for almost a decade now.
Definitely. Next year is the 45th anniversary plus Star Wars Celebration Japan so I feel these sudden releases are a test run on how deep they should invest themselves back in SW with the stuff coming up
Han and Chewie need to be brought. Ain't missing out on Chewie this time before he goes up in price.

Never understood why they never just released the 212/501st/Shocktrooper paint apps on the already excellent clone sculpts just seemed like easy money to me I’d buy 5 of each 😂 don’t collect black series but like you say I’m glad to see this line getting more love. Just wish we would have more releases throughout the year similar to how the dragonball line is issued but I’m sure there’s legal complications for that. Either way I’m excited for the future 🙌🏻
It’s always frustrated me how incredible the DBZ and Kamen Rider releases are compared to Star Wars and Marvel. Devote the same energy and creativity to those lines and you’d kill it.
I have like 70 of the original SHF Star Wars figures. Including the 2024 Kenobi Vader, Qui Gon & Maul.
I’m really glad they are making More Star wars figures. But money wise- I may Not be picking up these
Reissues. I Do like the Changes they are adding in Now, but I’m on the fence for this batch. lol I forgot about the new Jar-Jar… He is pretty cool. May have to get one of those eventually. Thanks for the interesting video, Enjoyed it!. Cheers!.
Thanks for the comment. I think I’ve gotten every release with the exception of one or two sequel troopers. I hope they consider giving us more than just the human figures as well. Big hole there in the collection.
I already own all the Original versions of most of these, I PO'd the C3PO, Stormtrooper, Yoda, Anakin, & Han again though. Also, I agree about those unreleased teased figures from Years ago, but I DEFINATELY want the articulated tail on the Jabba. The Tail is the main selling point for me. And the Hasbro Jabba has a rubber overlay which WILL disintegrate over time.
I want an articulated tail as well. I just feel the engineering has progressed since these were shown and they should redesign it to reflect that.

Great look at the reissues! I picked up Yoda, Chewie, and Anakin. I just picked up the original Han for a very good price so I didn't get the reissued Han. I am still very on the fence for him since the smirk face sculpt looks good, but I am one of those who thinks the new sculpts look just a bit off. Can't put my finger on exactly why though. I'm really hoping they reissue Leia.

@@KaijuDaddyJapanI think it's the eyes. They've been struggling to fine tune the weight of the eye printing for a while and need to get it together. Mando Luke and Qui-Gon are too light and pale, while Anakin here looks too heavy and dark.

Yeah the face is off definitely. A cloak would have also been nice but with the way the Ahsoka cape came out, I’m happy they didn’t

The Hasbro 3.75” figures have come a long way since 1995 POTF2 but paying $20 for them is insane to me.

Yes I am. I passed on the Figuarts one. I was debating whether to get it until the Mafex one was announced and then that was enough for me
If mafex does an Anakin I’ll pick that up. I got an SH just in case they don’t. I can’t wait for the mafex Luke 😍

To be honest the SHF Star Wars line was a major reason why I fell out of love with SHF. Stupid ideas like having Hans holster bolted to his thigh so you can't pose that leg were terrible ideas.
They weren’t perfect but they were miles ahead of what Hasbro was putting out at the time and forced Hasbro to invest more energy in their heads and sculpts.

As long as Bandai stays far away from ANYTHING associated with Disney Woke Wars, the Star Wars line will do just fine. Can't wait for their version of droideka, Mace (with the robe), Kit, and Grievous

Not a fan of the Ahsoka show. It had a few moments but most of it just didn’t do it for me.
The more you buy and praise these reissues and “1.5”s the less likely you will ever see new figures from this line. Bandai are being cheap.
I’m all game for updated, more movie accurate figures. This is in many ways an easy way for them to gauge interest in a line without having to devote considerable resources to new sculpts and molds. Let’s be honest, the sequels cost a lot of companies a great deal of money.
Quite the opposite. There's 0% chance they make new figures if high demand reissues sell poorly. Reissues are a low risk, expedient way to meet demand for their SW back catalog and estimate it for new figures while developing them, which takes years and much money. Not to mention they are making brand new figures like Ahsoka and Jar Jar.
@KaijuDaddyJapan 100% The decline in the line's first run really started with TLJ. There's a reason the first wave of reissues was Luke, Obi, and Rey - one lead jedi from each trilogy. Nice clean sales data to estimate current demand for each era. Notice the ST has been totally absent in all the reveals since then. They may trickle out ST here and there, but I imagine the data says mostly steer clear for now.
