I forgot that this is for 12 year olds. 12 year olds who claim to be gamers, probably and who just hate furries for no reason. Don't respond to my comment saying stuff like that, there's no need.
no one even hated lol, it was just calling you a furry, you took offense to it and started assuming things. where did you get a correlation of someone calling you a furry to them being 12 year old gamers who hate furries for no apparent reason?
@@violentabrahamlincoln1395 You purposely reply saying "furry". I think that it can be assumed you're not a big fan of furries from that. Only those types of people would say that, too. I literally made a pretty nice comment as far as they go, how about you don't reply in a semi-toxic way?
When you cross a perfect flower, is all the genetic material the same since mom and dad are the same plant? Or is there any genetic differences between the male and female parts of a perfect flower?
The new flower will not be identical, because it may have a different arrangement of chromosomes, and each chromosome will have undergone chromosomal crossover. However, there are no genetic differences between the male and female parts of the flower. So the offspring will effectively just be a more inbred version of the original plant.
I'm trying to find out some info, I'll explain as quickly as possible. I grow different colours of Foxglove, the colours are said, in the next generations seed to start reverting back to their original colour of purple if you have purples among your garden's collection, so remove them they say. Question, if I remove the anther/pollen part from the purples to prevent pollen from purples going else-where but allowing the other colours pollen to pollinate the purple, will the seed on the purple plant that was pollinated from say a white, become a white plant from that seed.
@@Science_Sauce You have also hurted my feelings. I'm interested in Japan-related stuff like anime, sushi and Sakura. You have made me doubting that Sakura is not actually a girl as in Naruto, but actually bisexual. And the ocean of pink which appears in the Land of the Rising Sun in March is just about...well...doing it...
Great explanation. Reminds me when I learnt about this in science class but forgot some bits. I have a question regarding cross pollination. In particular on my dragonfruit. I have (supposedly) a yellow skin white flesh variety that is non fertile. So I collected pollen from a pink skin white variety and used it to pollinate. I have success but the fruit is pink skinned (don’t know flesh colour yet). So I am confused about his. Have I been misled as to the variety I have or does cross pollination with another variety change the skin colour. Can’t find anyone that can give me an answer. So here I am hoping that someone with some obvious science knowledge can explain this process.
@@Spending_life_onYT since I posted my first comment I have pollinated this plant with both red flesh variety and white flesh. The fruit was all white so that answers my question no it won’t change colour. The flesh is determined by the plant and not the pollen source.

Would lavender be a safe flower to do this on?
Yes it would be safe, but not very practical; lavender is a small flower and the anther and stigma but be less prominent than on the lily.

How many petals are there!???
Thanks 🙂Good video
Still having a hard time differentiating the ovule and ovary. If you can explain that'll be great!
The ovary is the part that contains the ovules. The ovule will go on to become a seed while the ovary will go on to become the fruit.
