#timthetatman #podcast #reacts #food
It's now a tradition for me to watch Tim watch someone eat while I eat😂
Literally what im doing right now🤣😭
me right now
Same 😂😂😂
FACTS
always has been, food tiktoks have now been replaced by beard
Kind of a fun rewind to see these old Beard videos again! Would love to see a colab between you two next time Beard comes across the pond!
Anyone else want to see tim and courage do one of the duel eating challenges and see if they can do it
I have a feeling courage would eat more than Tim lmao
Tim and Courage vs Beard?
@@monstro945 yess
@@monstro945 it wouldn't even be a competition, Beard would decimate them.
I wouldn't even watch it, sounds boring and pointless.
Now Tim, Courage AND Doc? ....now we're talking
@@monstro945 oh my yes! I would love to see this
This has quickly become my 2nd favourite way to watch bearmeetsfood videos.
in the UK we call Fries the Thin cut version mormally found in fast food shops, but Chips are a Thicker cut for a softer center and more filling meal
need more beard vids could binge watch these for hours
Facts 😂
Timmy, ya gotta do more of these. I have watched all his videos. But u watching them adds another level to it 👍
2:35 Timmy, the full names are : Chips = Chipped Potatoes. Crisps = Crisped Potatoes. Fries doesn't really tell you the ingredient, "chipped potatoes" says exactly what the ingredient is.
7:45 Beard hates mushrooms too, he always leaves them till last in a breakfast challenge
The Outro tune is Florian Haack - Continue Theme
If you don't know that fries are potato's, you're an idiot. also "chipped" potato does not make sense. Take the L Brittan
His podcast is called the breaking bread podcast, it’s up on UA-cam
Incase you haven’t found out, to answer your question about when he started yt, his first video was in the time span of 2014-15 which was a large eating challenge followed by a challenge of him to get to the lowest BMI he could, which he ended at 8%
Thanks for linking the people you react to Tim. Lots don't do that.
It literally doesn't make a difference tho..... it's super easy to find videos... stop being lazy
@@at5710nothing to do with "finding the videos" my guy. It's about honoring the person who made the original content. You can literally see the video name, it would take all of 10 seconds to get to it without the link.
@@Zathren ah yes..... the anime picture talking about honor 🤣🤣🤣🤡 go watch some more cartoons you punk
He did his first eating challenge around 2014-2015 as a follow-up to a diet where he got his body fat down to 8%; he started his UA-cam channel in 2015, and began competing professionally in 2017
10:04 shocker, Tim was watching a show about food😂
@timthetatman go get in contact with him. Next time he comes to the states, you guys meet up and went on some food challenges!!! I guess I´m not the only one who wants to see that.
Gravy boat is the term you were looking for
I'm 100% Tim doesn't know how to cook or eat a steak now. I'm gonna need a full video to clear some stuff up! 😉😂
Absolutely,.. Tim needs to go visit GUGA FOODS to get himself a proper steak,.. there is NO WAY! Tim WON'T like Guga's cooking!!
I’m not sure if Tim noticed or not, but his shirt says “Weekends are for waffles” haha. Waffles always make their way into Tim’s life 😂
If you bite the onion ring and it pulls out the whole onion it’s fresh. If you can bite chunks out without that happening it’s processed and usually frozen.
They could be fresh but they could be well done, if they’re really crispy the onion won’t pull out
The only reason you pull out the onion is bc they use the outer layers that are harder. That's it. And if that happens it is a BAD onion ring.
There is a very thin membrane between the layers of an onion. When making onion rings you want to peel this membrane away. This membrane is usually what causes the onion to be pulled out of the batter shell. A clean bite tells you additional work has been done to prep the onions.
@@juankovacs6033 that may be true but my whole point was frozen processed onion rings are easily noticeable. It’s been blended up and reconstituted. A bad fresh onion ring is still better than frozen.
In England we still have fries as well as chips, but chips are the thicker ones like in the video, fries is used only for like french fries, and American potato chips we call crisps haha
Anyone else want to see this Colab? Like Tim and Beard doing a challenge together?
You bring up chips/fries, but the one that's more confusing is biscuits/scones/cookies. I've never found an Englishman who can grasp the differences, but any American understands it immediately
Mid rare to medium is fine for me. Tim, I'd actually love to see you attempt a challenge like this. Might surprise yourself
I'm loving these reaction videos
you two have GOT TO COLLAB i mean come on that would be youtube gold!
Beard do music aswell Tim . Please react to one of his songs for example "Garlic Bread " or "I want chicken wings"
Fries are typically “skinny chips”. Thick cut potatoes fried are chips
Tim should eat while watching beard eat
Also really happy that you've gone down the Beard rabbit hole, I watch every video he releases - especially while I'm eating, li'l dinner ritual.
Beard is also a great singer
You should check out one of his old challenge day videos. They are insane.
He's got to do a meet and eat with him at this point at the next tailgate. Have josh cook and him and beard do a eating contest. But maybe handicap the portions.
Yo Tim if you want to eat the best cheesecake if your life, the next time you come to NY go check out of Aunts restaurant. It’s a Best Western in West Nyack right before the Tapanze bridge. She’s never lost a cheesecake completion and was voted “best cheesecake in NY”. Not kidding either trust me you will love it!
ive been addicted to watching his videos since watching your first couple of reactions to his stuff -- he is a god
the thicker cut we call chips and the thinner cut we call fries, what you would call french fries
Chips are chips and fries are fries my dude. Two completely different styles of cutting potatoes
Ive watched Beard for years, im happy you’re reacting to him :D
Tim you got me hooked too watching Beards channel I'm nearly through all his videos 😂
Fries are usually thinner so like mcdonalds and places like that, whereas chips are usually thicker that you get in pubs and from chip shops
Gotta see the chicken wing challenge where he just roasts his buddy for trying lol
A chip is a "chip" out of a potato, a fry is a thin chip
Nah man, forget Fries of Chips, Patat is the true way to call it.
Medium is definitely the way to go. Medium rare is doable. Medium is perfect
Aussies call chips chips and frys chips and potato cut chips chips
We know what we are on about everytime we say chips 🤣
when it comes to the fries vs chips thing, as a brit, i call thin ones fries and thick ones chips
As a non American, Fries are spindly tiny little things. ( McDonalds )
Chips are at least a centimeter wide.
Nah fries are like steak fries or crinkle cut chips are just pieces of fried potato
@@jebaited9612 get muted kid.
Beard hates mushrooms too, he can’t digest them properly and they come out the same way they went in 😂😂
FYI, us Brits call fries fries too. Chips are different, they are a lot more chunky and thick cut. Fries are the thin and crispy ones.
Tim should definitely try some mushrooms that would be a hilarious stream 😜
You gotta look up his 100,000 calorie challenge. It’s like an hour long but worth it
Its crazy how he finds all these challenges when I've only been to one restaurant in my life that had one
He seeks them out so that’s why.
One thing I don't want, is for viewers to think Mr Beard meets Food owes anything to Tim VIEWERS. This man has been pounding this genre for years
We have fries and chips in the UK fries are skinny like McDonald’s ones, chips are thick with fluffy potato
If the steak is cooked right, the fat is one of the best parts. Flavor savors
Bro go back to the days of beard having half a beard😂
Fried vs Chips in the UK... Usually for us in the UK, chips are the chunkier cut potatoes and fries are the skinny cut potatoes (like you'd get at a fast food place)
Chips are chunky cut. Fries are skinny cut. Crisps are... Crisps.
Tim, we call them fries because we fry them they call them chips because they bake them
I love these videos so much.
Chips are thicker cut…..
We still call fries fries, when they’re French Fries, thin cut like McDonalds
I love watching this dude its fukin crazy how much he can eat
Please more of beardmeatsfood!!!! These are my favorites reactions
Love the reactions to beard keep them coming
This man legit living like a wolf eating a huge meal and fasting for a week.
2:56 the disconnect is that americans decide they want to speak like us but change it slightly lol. fries are skinny chips which are french fries, chips are chunky and can get straight, crinkled and everything else. then your "chips" we call crisps.
No fry’s are fry’s, chips are chips, what we call fry’s are skinny skinny chips like from McDonald’s
You eat your meat medium and you don’t eat the fat I’ve never been more disappointed
If your baffled by us brits calling fries chips, we also call chips... crisps.
Keep them coming Tim! Gotta love beard !
I would classify a "chip" as a thinly cut potato that is fried. So yes, I would consider fries, "chips," but I'm American so I'll continue to call them fries.
Chips and fries are different in the UK. If it’s chunky, it’s a chip and if it’s skinny, it’s a fry 😂
From mcdonalds, french fries. Everywhere else chips.
Feel like I’m watching John Candy take down the old 96er from the great outdoors
Take a shot every time you hear the word delicious
as an englishman i call chips the chunkier ones while fries are skinny
Win before you begin! Randy and others explain how to somewhat safely use water and other things to stretch and prep the stomach but it is a long term change not something accomplished over night
Chips ya mad man lol
Fries are "Thin cut chips"
Here in England we have different sizes of "Fries/Chips"
You have the typical McDonald fries and then you have chips like Fish&Chips
I’m Australian and we call them Chips too but Fries is also appropriate if they’re thin chips (like McDonald’s fries)
“fourteen portions please“
Lol
Chips are usually eaten with chicken or fish, and fries are usually eaten with burgers and other American foods. This question is base over apex. The British have been around a lot longer than the Americans. We call them chips because they are chipped potatoes. Also Americans took fries from the French and made it there own culture in the states
Time limit is 1 hour?!!! They didn't even give him 1 hour lol. The clock was started at 59 minutes.
Anyone else shocked Tim never mentioned his "Waffles are for the weekend" shirt? C'mon man. Lol
Bro this made me hungry as CRAP, also I cried when Dallas lost to those Terrible cardinals
chips are chunky, fires are skinny. crisps are crisps
As a brit myself chips are a lot thicker cut and fries are more thin like your mcdonalds fries.
I would personally call them chips or fries depending on how they are served.
Normally have chips with fish or steak and then fries with a burger.
2:30 The disconnect happened when the revolutionary war started, which is why we have TWO DIFFERENT TYPES OF ENGLISH 😂 That gamer dent has really messed up tims brain huh 😅
Chips. We created the language 😂
Just wait till Tim finds out about Randy Santel
The whole world calls fries-chips, Soccer-Football, Trunk-Boot, and it’s only because England conquered the world and passed the British English as the standardized English, there isn’t American English taught in schools around the world, America stands on its own in various words
the YT algorithm always seems to know when i'm sitting down to eat, cause when i load up the site, there's Beard (in one form, or another). Now i'ma eat like i mean it.
in the Netherlands we call it "pata friet" (potatoes fried i guess), which is more in line with fries i gues.
Especially for thicker steaks, and if they're marbled, medium is best.
Because you get better fat rendering, it's juicier, whereas with less doneness it can backfire and actually be chewier.
Medium is king, unless youre talking a really thin steak.
I wanna see him do The Great Outdoors Old 96er
Fries are skinny chips are mainly thick cut from chip shops 😅
Definitely called chips. Struggled when I first moved to Canada with this
As a brit i consider fries being skinny chips. Then chips more thick cut
When the chef lists the cuts of meat and their weight. And you guess the total weight. It’s not a good guess Tim. It’s bad math 😂
We have fries and potato chips, they have chips and crisps. Brits speak the same language as us but it is completely different. 😂🤣😂
tim should go do a challenge with beard and interview him during it!
Nice seeing a place so close to me appear in a Timmy video - let’s go Ilkley
