I’m over in the UK here and been listening to Bluegrass since I was 6 or 7 my dad was always listening to it, he was a truck driver and so am I now, it does make the miles skip by a bit easier. This is the America I love hands down and I would dearly hope to get over one day and experience it first hand.

She is even greater than before and absolutely LOVE those ''shoes'' and the'' color'' and wish i had the exact ones. I think the heal is about the right size or height for that sound needed. Great musicians and she can keep right up with the best.

Young people nowadays can barely see the world around them, generally they can only see what is on their phones. And if it is not current trend "music" then they cannot discern it as music. Essentially, they are living in another dimension. Except for a small number of them who are highly intelligent with well developed perception and reasoning ability.
You can google buckdancing, but I will share that we ran into it as a piece of local culture in West Virginia last summer. It was more popular a few generations back, but there are a few ladies left from then that will still get up and step in, impromptu, to perform because community feeling is alive and well in the small towns around there. We were near Staunton (pronounced Stanton).
The incongruity of the two young girls walking past such talent and fun, and not even smiling!? Wonderful dancing wonderful music, they can sure pick a tune! Very happy music!
Wow! I still remember that back in the mid 70's friends of mine would get together and play bluegrass along with some cloggers, both ladies and guys and put on what a show. That was just outside Roanoke Virginia. They played fast and faster but with such clarity and accuracy. This video reminds me of those days.
Dang… she didn’t even get exhausted. Her joy of dancing and strong legs (Stanford Longevity Center says it’s what is key for long term self reliance) will be keeping her going for a long time.

As other's have said the term 'Bluegrass' wasn't yet being used, but fiddle music Banjo and clogging is much older bought to the Appalachians by English settlers.
Love that buckdancing, especially the triumphant gestures near the end where Ms. Moonshine really hit her straps (2.06). She felt it, hell we all did. Here in the land of Oz where 60% of the population is obese or overweight, we should all be queuing up to learn this stuff, so we can get in shape like Moonshine. The biggest problem might be rounding up a bluegrass outfit to provide the music.

It's actually not a very old tune at all. Bill Monroe wrote it in the late 50s.
