    Wow Mr. Ayuk is so educated wow I enjoyed this since I watched until the end.
    I have heard so many stories and read many others about southern Cameroon’s history but this is well put together even with the many confusing dates

      Ayuke is great but he has to come give account of our money he received. We can no longer tolerate this rubbish in Africa where leaders think they are not accountable to the money they receive.
      Nobody questioned Ayuke. That's why Sako could do the same.

    Thank you for this good video, it gave me a good insight in what has happened and what is currently happening in our country Cameroon. I'm a native of francophone Cameroon but I studied in the english system of education. I never knew all of this and I'm thankful for the video.
    Stay blessed.

    My father was one of those politicians who suffered with the SCNC struggle till dead...I REM when soldiers always came to our home looking for him,he was so strong in law and spiritually that,he never went to their jail....Reason though he was a candidate under adamu ndam Hoya's part,he had a dream that never succeeds...am happy where he is now,seeing this struggle his soul is happy and all our ancestors are happy..the fight is ours...biya will get fatigue and we shall confused lrc to extend they will wage war against themselves

    Cameroon has always been two...that is how we grew up with....we knew one day,if we are maltreated and marginalised or being put to slavery by our neighbors....we shall separate...joining French Cameroon was to taste if they love will flow from them to us....but from time memorial we have been insulted even in the French towns,schools,work place...everywhere.They themselves made us to understand we can never be the same...then why being with them..we need to build our own faith come rain come sun....

    From his speech, I sense the west Cameroun ppl want to be left alone i.e not with Nigeria nor French Cameroun. But in a world of neo-colonialization, that's quite a herculean task. From hindsight 20-20, and in my opinion, I feel they would have been better off joining Nigeria since they both have similar colonial masters and cultural similitudes. Guess your leaders made a mistake by joining French Cameroun in 1961

    All what u are quoting shows African history started after the Colonial masters, do Africans have no identity before their arrival, as I see u, even d way u talk ur accent looks like lik some of our natives in Nigeria. A lot a pple in southern Cameron bears similar names like the natives of cross rivers akwa ibom states(efik, ibibio,oron, etc) in Nigeria. Example a footballer in Cameroon bears eyong enoh, etc...I think many of tribes were initially one or close identities but were divided politically into nation's, states, and that made many of them to lost their true origin, cos most history today started from the coloniser, this pple were one before they came

    So for you the history of cameroon begins with the end of WW1?
    Tell to the people what was the context before the german came over........
    You say the UN divided the country.....You said it! Did the UN ask to the people of cameroon if the want to be divided or not? Was it legal to divide one country because germany lost the war?

    • @chiatanganixon9484
      @chiatanganixon9484 5 років тому +1

      According to you was there any Cameroon before the Germans arrived, The Douala chiefs sign a treaty with the Germans in whose name, Have you seen the German Kamerun map by 1911 after the dog bill treaty? Ask yourself if it is the same today cuz part was given to today's Chad, Central African Republic, Congo Brazzaville, Gabon, and even Equatoria Guinee. Southern Cameroonians had that chance to choose bcuz they were given that opportunity, but bcuz french Cameroon had bad faith it has lead us to where we are today. We will not stay in a union full of manipulation, distrust, lies telling, fraud etc. We're gone for good

    The united Republic of Cameroon was not to be changed, following the terms of the Fumban confrence. But, Biya changed it single handedly to where we were before as two states la Repubkique and southern Cameroon. So, Biya can not tell us that Cameroon that he seperated can still be united again. Come to think of it.

    You know, la republic became member of UN when it got independence, that statute has never changed even when we joined la republic even though we were celebrating federation in Cameroon. So they kept the ignorant anglophone leaders in the dark as they had a plan of assimilation. Today this has come to an end and we shall never go back to the same foolishness under no circumstance.
