This movie brought back the warmth of pre-Endgame Marvel that has been missing for quite some time.
The part, "My beloved racoon, this story has been yours all along, you just didn't know it" hit me real heart. Gunn managed to pull at our heartstrings. And then rip them right apart with this one. ✨

YES! I cried for the first time watching a Marvel movie after Endgame. With this movie they have immortalized guardians of the galaxy as a franchise forever. A perfect ending. The best part was no single character saved the day, each one had an important role to play in saving each other. And rocket truly was the soul. I also felt for Peter so much.

I have to tell you guys about a detail i noticed which no one is talking about,
In Rocket's flashback he was speaking in a child voice with broken words but when the High evolutionary told him his plans for batch 89 and Rocket realises their fate his voice becomes deeper as we know(bradley cooper's voice). That was the moment Rocket grew up and stopped believing.
Even though Adam Warlock was not what we expected but people are not mad at the makers for that choice, we understand that character too even if he turned out to be different than we thought, this is what needed to be done with Gorr the god butcher in Love and thunder and this just proves how good writing and knowing your characters well can effect the total outcome of the film.
This movie was such a breath of fresh air in the marvel atmosphere and I am so thankful to James Gunn for giving the characters good meaningful endings besides than the cliched (like gamora finding her family in the ravages, drax being a dad and star lord believing in himself and reuniting with his grandpa).

First of all, i loved the movie but i have to disagree.
You may already know that Warlock is a super serious no bullshit guy in the comics and they turned him into a joke. I'm not complaining about Adam but are you saying they should've done the same with Gorr??
(Gorr's pretty bloody character in the comics, in case you don't know)

Apart from the comic book fans, nobody even knew that this team ever existed in Marvel. This was until James Gunn stepped in and showed that there was an entirely different world that existed outside the territory of the Avengers. I absolutely love No Way Home with all my heart due to the emotional weight and nostalgia it brought with it. But truth be told, it never felt like a part of the MCU because of our connection with Spiderman even before the MCU even existed. It was a hard-core Spiderman movie which we missed so much.
GOTG 3 brought the old feeling of MCU after such a long time. This was the first MCU movie I watched since Love and Thunder and my heart was breaking slowly with each underwhelming product from the universe. But goddamnit I cried, laughed, cheered and clapped like hell in this movie! This team is truly the underdog of the universe! I don't know if this distinction will make sense but this is the best Marvel film since No Way Home and the best MCU film since Endgame.
And lastly, I'd like to say:-
"The name's Rocket. Rocket Raccoon." WE ALL WENT WILD 😭❤️🔥

I'm glad you enjoyed it, Anmol. I too agree that Adam Warlock's intro could've been done a bit better, like how Ayesha argues with the High Evolutionary that he pulled Adam out of his cocoon too soon. I can't believe how great Bradley Cooper's VO manages to have the breadth and depth of emotions of Rocket perfectly and made me cry. And specially the scene where Lylla tells him that it was his story all along :) Its so funny to think that Chris Pratt actually auditioned for Captain America when clearly he was born to play this quirky, awkward, funny and mad action hero of the universe (also loved him in Lego batman!). The full circle the movie comes to when Redbones Come and get your love plays in the end makes you puff with emotion. Honestly the finest Marvel movie made in last 2 years. How cool is it that Hawkeye's wife voiced Lylla ?! I think it was the dynamic between the four friends, bonding through their trauma and taking care of each other that really got you invested. It helps one understand why Rocket became so protective of his found family in the Guardians later on. How nice it is to have friends.

I feel like Adam Warlock will be explored more in later films where he grows as a person, has character development. In this movie he was shown having a personality of a teenager, straight out of his birthing pod which as the High Priestess mentioned 'premature', throughout his conversations with the High Priestess he is shown as a teenager with his mother, a kind of easy personality. People who've not read the comics will find his character likeable and immediately acceptable. Now they can add character development which will look natural and make his character something the audience will look forward to.
Lastly, the only thing that I wish this movie had was a longer fight with the High Evolutionary as he is shown as someone who one might consider 'God' yet he himself went down without much of a fight. But as a character, the actor deserves a standing ovation. One of the few truly loathed villains we've seen.
Otherwise, this movie is the definition of 'Perfection'. If I can I'll actually go and watch it in the theatres again. It's that good.
