This cinematic adaptation of the novel 'Ash and Fire' by Libbyrator offers a condensed portrayal of a story spanning over four years, focusing on the enduring resilience of Valdic culture. Through the eyes of Ethvald, an elder who has witnessed the rise and fall of 4 of the Valdic nations from which the Valdic Union's people today descend, the film explores the ashes of once-great empires and the burning ambition that drives the Valdic people forward.
Each generation has inspired the next, building on the achievements of those before them in an effort to preserve and enrich their cultural heritage. Rather than offering a detailed historical account, the film is a lore-nerrative that is accessible introduction to the ongoing saga of the Valdic Union, setting the stage for the next chapter: Rebirth.
