1. I live in Texas where proper AC function is pretty important but I saw no response to others who asked about possible deterioration of AC circulation?
2. You made no mention of switching back and forth to the original PCM system (Nav, Bluetooth, etc.)? That is available with the system that retains the original head unit.
3. If one has no access to 5G which feeds Apple CarPlay, what Nav options remain?
Hi
1. There is no loss of AC Circulation. The frame of the screen is designed to get attached to the original Ac fittings. But outlet is not big as original maybe you feel some loss in air throw. We donot have such warm temperature so not tested at maximum.
2. The Pcm as shown we removed from the car so it will not work longer with this head Unit. There is another model that we are selling supports original pcm as well.
3. Screen has a 4g networks Sim card support + wifi + offline GPS as well
So if you have no internet access still you can use offline maps.

I added an Apple CarPlay module to my 991.1. I was on a trip through Central Tx that has no cell service, so I immediately learned that without cell service, I totally lost all Nav. In my case, I was able to revert to the PCM Nav and so I was OK. My understanding of your answer suggests one is totally reliant on cell service, which for my application is not good.
I do appreciate your straight forward response. Maybe some day someone will come up with a similar upgrade that will at least retain the ability to revert to the PCM Nav.

If you have carbon fiber side panels can you keep them or do you have to replace them with the black ones?
The original panel is smaller in size you need to change them because you are installing a big screen. There is a one more model that fits with same panels and looks like almost same. Contact at sale@tereteknik.se to get more info.

No from factory there is only one color available which is black but you can wrap or carbon dip the panel.

can you tell me how to do the wiring from pcm 4.0 to the new screen?
Its only one main quad lock in pcm 4 that needs to be connected with the android harness rest are antenna and usb cables
@@tereteknik because I also have gps antenna and other cables. I tried yesterday but sound and original 360 camera don't work :(

Yes there is a web browser and we can use internet via WiFi or by inserting simcard in the screen.

I have one question for you. I’m thinking of doing the same thing, but I’m always worried with these android radios on how they’re gonna function specifically when you’re changing a lot of things like air conditioner and certain things right. I’m wondering after all these months how is it functioning in your Panamera?
It works very good just looks like the new generation Panamera . The only thing that will not work is the Navigation in the small cluster screen.
That’s not so bad. I’ve been using the one on my phone anyhow. It would be nice if there was a way of putting the navigation of a phone in the smaller cluster. That would be a great upgrade.
I wanted to order this directly from your company. I am here in the US. The only issue is that my Panamera has the woodgrain, and the one that you have in the website only has the carbon fiber look.

Factory Backup camera only works with some cars, we installed in many cars but camera working ratio is 7 out of 10 cars
