Bit late here but from 1 to 5 I had Sia, Hollywood Undead, Kraftwerk, Avicii and Men I Trust.
I just heard Men I Trust for the first time towards the end of the year, fantastic band.

I'm surprised the genre name "IDM" has stuck. Other genres of music to not have sub-genres said to me intelligent. They don't tend to have an activity mentioned their name. There is no, for example, stupid driving music or smart walking music. I don't think IDM is more intelligent than other music and not necessarily for dancing. It is music though.
