We need a Nate companion in Skyrim. Whenever you see something mysterious or weird, he'll comment on it, and he'll help you find hidden things wherever you are. He also will say "Murdered to death" after killing enemies.
You completely forgot to mention how aesthetically pleasing Fellburg is!!! Everything is locked in place and arranged beautifully. It’s just perfect. Also the hen house
Yess! I always end up focusing on Restoration, so I would love to see it given an overhaul that doesn’t just ‘give it more’ but also make it more strategic and satisfying to use. One gripe is that its attacks have no effect on living beings, I’m not expecting HP depletion or anything but some debuffs would seem reasonable to me. 🤷♂️
I started on PS4. Didn’t like the granny panties my Dragonborn always wore. Now she has way better underwear and even a lot of female faces in the game look better with the Seraphim Female Body Replacer. Combined that with a Seranaholic mod & now Serana is wow
I've been doing this thing where I just download every mod in whichever one of your videos I've come across and I have yet to have a bad experience. Keep up the great work!
Right when you were starting to serially repeat facts, you start exploring new types of lists and I love it. I'd love to see you show off some of your favorite builds or something like that.
I love Dawnguard a lot other than the side quest in Fallout where you help this guy with his dad who has an ancient artifact on his head this is my favorite questline of all time but I just really wish there was more to do after you beat it like opening more of the castle building more upon it or just having more to do I love how they made the vampires
see, i love your channel cuz like, i dont play skyrim. i would absolutely love to but i cant afford the game nor a device to play it on. but i love watching this channel cuz even though im not playing, i still feel like i kind of am? in a way? like theres so many things that ive (obviously) neglected to notice the few times i was able to play and this lets me see the things i could do, had i the funds to play. it lets me plot and figure out my options and know what i want to say. also, the videos are very well laid out. introduces the game, lists whatever the video says its gonna list, then finishes. you ask people what they liked and what they think you should put in. its a very nice community and it gets right to the point, without the whole "before we start the video, go like us on facebook and blah blah blah" no, its straightforward. thank you.
I love the nordwarua armor overhaul mods. City guard, stormcloak, imperial, realistic armor replacements for iron and steel. As well as the weapons. He does great work
The only thing I dislike about Felburg is that the interior has several load doors to parts of the home, so I can't have one NPC sandbox the entire home, and it doesn't give you the "lived in" impression, the way the interior is decorated makes it look more like a museum. It could also use some more NPCs, or at least a schedule on the existing ones so they don't just work all the time, the tavern is always empty. Ah, and the alchemist vendor is broken, she isn't linked properly to her chest below the floor. But the sheer scale of the mod is why these things can be mentioned the first place, so all in all, it's the best estate mod I've ever seen, even if it could use some polish.
I don't suppose you would do a mod review specifically for console users. I use PS4 and am looking for some mods that add story but all of the ones I see are just to make you op.
Nice list. If i ever decide to play Skyrim again i will definetly get back to this video. Building whole city instead just small homestead seems very interesting as i always look for a way to expand Hearthfire homesteads.
Necro-commenting here, but yeah. Holy CTD batman! All of Locaster's mods cause loads of CTDs for me, even after cleaning them with Tes5edit, wyre bash and LOOT optimization with no other mods on a fresh install of Skyrim; just DLC and the official patches. He's also seemed to have disappeared so I can't run anything by him to see if I could find other fixes. Oh well, so goes it, shame though; they're beautiful mods.
@@Roy-kj8gf Oh man I remember downloading these mods. I'm glad I cut down my load order to less than 15 mods nowadays because otherwise Skyrim Together becomes unplayable. I had the diverse dragons mod installed, but I found that the dragons spawned a lot more than in vanilla game which was annoying. But it's just my opinion
These days I won't play magic without two mods: Apocalypse, and Path of Sorcery. PoS is a perk overhaul (sadly, no matching warrior or thief mods yet) that really makes magic come alive. It makes destruction spells do more damage rather than just becoming cheaper for more button-mashing, makes mage armor and wards actually worth casting, and gives cool new features to all the illusion spells, such as turning calmed enemies into slaves or making frenzied foes do more damage to each other. And Apocalypse provides a ton of spells to take advantage of those new perks. Frost spells that deal damage over time, fire spells that do more damage the further away a target is, and shock spells that teleport a target backward, to say the least. I can't even imagine playing a mage now without alteration, because Apocalypse adds alteration spells that auto-cast combat buffs, stagger enemies, conjure workstations and storage, and even let you walk on water or fly. And I can't play a mage anymore without dual-cast Longstride, which is faster than sprinting or horses.
I installed the diverse dragons in one of my last long playthroughs and it really helps make the game more varied and exciting, specially after encountering the one that spits the black goo (that kills you fast as fuck) and the birdlike one who can disarm you.
I wonder if there's a crowbar or a breaking locks mod that goes with that last one because it would be neat to make a brutish thug thief that's all smash grab when no one's looking.
I play TTRPGs, and it can be frustrating when the players "treat the game like it's Skyrim", a.k.a. anything you cant smash or loot isn't worth interacting with. Which is why the glass cutter thing makes me so happy. I don't know if it's realistic, but it's an in-universe solution to a problem that would earn my players a lot of praise for their cleverness if they used it in one of my games.
These are so awesome. I'm getting back into Skyrim after not having a working PC for a few years. What is meant by "this mod is for 'legacy skyrim'?" How do I know which one I have? I'm on PC.
