  • Next year, Toyota Motor Corporation will launch a newly-developed set of active safety technologies designed to help prevent or mitigate collisions across a wide range of vehicle speeds. These technologies will be offered in the form of two "Toyota Safety Sense" packages, to be launched in 2015 and rolled out across most passenger models and grades in Japan, North America and Europe by the end of 2017.

Nice features ... But I would like them also to work properly. Lets give some examples of Toyota Camry Hybrid 2019 European version issues:
    - AHB (auto high beam), changes lights too late or not at all when:
    - "one eyed" cars
    - motorcycles
    - cars suddenly appearing from behind hill or curve
    - cars having dim halogen headlights
    - closing other car from behind
    - at any mildly bad weather (rain/fog/...)
None of these caused any problems to four years older Volkswagen AHB system in Passat. System worked even in real snowstorm.
    - PCS (pre collision system), randomly gives alarms and switches off the system
    - ACC (active cruise control), The longest safety distance is still too short and in many cases unusable at Scandinavia, especially at Winter but also in bad weather and at nighttime.
    - LDA (lane departure assist) sort of works but should have more brains
Most likely all of these can be improved a lot by software/firmware updates. Hopefully Toyota provides them soon.
