Im definitely whining a bit but thank you in advance for making this video. Ive read the fx sections in the manual twice now but this i retain this information so much more seeing/hearing a demonstration in real time. Very valuable resource youve created here. Especially because your explanations are very concise and informative. also youre thorough without lingering too long on anything. all around this a 10/10 tutorial. sending gratitude and positivity from Dallas, Texas 🙏🌀🕊
Extremely informative, clear and easy to follow what is or can be complicated, to new beginners. I concentrated mainly on reverb, thanks Ashwin. Your tutorials and tips has fascinated my curiosity, to explore sounds to use to mix. Thank you, very much appreciated.
Nice tutorial. Amazingly NI never put out such an overview. I've had to figure this out myself. NI would have made S8 Kontoller more successful if they had. I stand by it being an amazing piece of kit and love mine. Shame NI didn't realise it potential to the mass market.
Hahah indeed, best practical example for the fact that off all the effects that exist in the digital domain, reverb of course is the most naturally occurring one!
@@Beatworx BTW, thanks for a great video! Literally a few weeks ago I was thinking about "it would be great to know how every FX on Traktor works" and bam! 2 hours video with detailed explanation! Thumbs up and subscribe! :)
BTW. Maybe You will know is to possible to achieve this hihat pitch adjust effect on traktor dj software like in this video, starting from 1:42 (Richie Hawtin is using this technique with hihats often): ua-cam.com/video/gv7Q-ZC-WaY/v-deo.html
Looks like the hi-hats are coming in from Ableton hence he's able to control the pitch on them with the K2 controller mapped to it. You can easily do this in Traktor by using a deck to play just h-hat loops and assign the Pitch Knob of the deck to control it (It the one that changes the key of the track)

Your chapters have a bit offset. If you fix them, this the best FX tutorial for Traktor.
Hey Mikko Thank you, we will look into it, it's a bit tedious than recording the actual tutorail! Please let us know what you'd like to see next from us

hoping this video will help me figure out how to layer Traktors fx like I used to be able to in Serato. I loved making intensely psychedelic, fractal sounding delays in Serato and modulating the feedback/repeats in crazy ways. I'm really struggling to get anything close in Traktor even tho I switched bc I've always heard that Traktor had the best. I'm honestly not super crazy about any of them compared to fx expansions in Serato. Traktor is definitely the better software overall so it's really disappointing to me
This is the best tutorial available for beginners learning Traktor and looking for some real spice & proper theory 👌🏾
Glad to hear that!
great that you dont just explain the effects, you also make practice examples for using it. superb tutorial!
Glad you liked it!
That's a good presentation of FX on traktor. Congrats !
Glad you like it!

Do you have your own soundcloud and recorded sets?

What laptop are you running? I know s8 is particular and hates the 2022 cores.
This is a 2015 Macbook Pro Retina i7 with 16GB DDR3 and 512SSD
which fx are the best for techno ?
which you can use often , not only for drops etc.?

I want to watch Audiounits do an hour long set that's 100% pure effects
Hahahaha the toilet part is funny.
ignore this amature explination of fx, the guy knows very little in regards to sound engineering.
