Man, my heart always goes to people who made something that inspired so many people and made this big an impact, but they never saw it. All Larson saw was rejection and delays, until he made the game changer but he never saw the reaction. Same goes for old artists like Rembrandt or Van Gogh who died penniless and unappreciated, yet now we treat them like gods of painting. They all have in common that they never stopped though, until they were physically removed from the world.

Shame the audio during the performance is mixed so poorly, those singers sounded angelic.
Yeah what's up with that Netflix? The money behind this must've been insane, you couldn't afford to hire someone to mix this properly?
@@NateGH36O the money probably went to red notice 😩
I know ! It's prob because of the amount of ppl per mic but STILL both shows have such a strong emotional connection. To not hear all the harmonies us just criminal.
Glad I wasn't the only who noticed, the band was waaayy too powerful and the voice mix was like 90% soprano
@@NateGH36O My guess is it was mixed well for the room, but the room recording or patch out was shit.
I don’t really enjoy musicals. But I will always cherish lin’s, and his directorial debut was beyond my expectations and I have no words. I never cry to movies, but this one finally broke my streak. Amazing job!
I can't think of anyone better to carry on Jonathan's legacy than Lin.
Jonathan Larson would look down.. and he'd be happy.. beautiful perfomances form Andrew Garfield and thank you to Lin Manuel Miranda for putting together such a beautiful masterpiece of a musical.
I can't believe missing this live one song glory sang in choir, can't imagine the chills
Edit: WE REQUIRE THE STUDIO MIXED VERSION
I would LOVE a studio mix of this. We worked too hard to be lost in the mix
But why (Ryan Reynolds taking of a mask)?
@@rosebben1 from what I heard you all sounded incredible!
Watching this after watching the film on Netflix. I AM CRYING AGAIN. 🥺🥺💕💕💕 What a tribute to a Broadway genius from another Broadway genius. 💕💕💕
that shot of lin and robin at about 7:45.... the sweetest thing
I just saw the movie, and I have no words. This is definitly the most inspiring and beautiful and unique and amazing thing I have ever seen in my life. This changed my way of seing the world. I'll always remember him as the most inspiring person. Wow, I have no words, but thank you.
Is there anything Lin CANT do? so so impressed. He did amazing. And Jonathan was just as amazing…what a beautiful story.
The look on Lin's face 🥺 he's like a proud papa. He's such a gift💞
This is so inspiring, as someone who is a 16 year old girl who if still finding her way wanting to also pursue this as a career makes me feel so proud to do this, I want to thank lin for this but also a massive thankyou to Jonathon larson, for giving people like lin and myself the passion to want to create art like this!!!
Beautiful ❤️✨🦋
I love Lin Manuel so much. He is brilliant and you can tell that he loves what he does. I hope he continues to bring musicals from broadway to the broad screen.

Didn’t see any of this coming. This is Glorious. Tonight on Netflix this old performer will be watching. Thank you all. ❤️👍🇦🇺🇺🇸
I'll be honest... I just fell in this video without knowing anything about it. But there's a very strong emotion that arrives directly to my heart and reading the comments I know this is also an inspiring emotion. So, I'm very glad to have seen this video, it's one of those things that makes me feel like it had to happen. And wow, it's 19/11/21 so, I'll definitly see this movie. I have to.
Lin has so much heart, and I love it! The passion is real.
Such a excellent made movie to celebrate Jonathan Larson life and music.
I'm so glad we're getting back to a semblance of normal and that we can once again see shows like these, see these performers give it their all on stage.
Legends. Undescriptable feelings. ART itself takes a way in this movie adaptation.
I can't stop crying. If they (Lin, Andrew, Robin, all the other crew and cast members) ever wonder if they created a piece of art that inspired life or changed the world, they did. They absolutely did. Thank you for telling the brilliant Jonathan Larson's story in such a fabulous and heart-warming manner. I cannot stop sobbing. Thank you. So much.
I WORKED this event ~ I knew exactly how great the BIV were yet watching this clip and hearing those voices again I still get goosebumps!

If Jonathan Larson was still alive, i believe he would be happy for all the hardwork he has done in the musical and especially Director Lin would be proud of him.
Rest in Paradise Jonathan Larson "1960-1996".
Anne Frasier Thomas in this chorus always bringing the heat! Incredible job to these performers
This tribute is earth-shattering. JL's songs are already phenomenal on their own, and there's just so much heart and soul being poured into every word by these wonderful performers. I choke up almost every time I hear this. So so beautiful ❤
The gentleman in the spotty shirt has such a beautiful tone to his voice. I could listen to him all day.
Lin has the look of being a proud dad throughout the entire video.
I truly hope Lin understands that this profound impact that Jonathan Larson had in his life and into his death, is the same kind of impact that he has had for years now
I’m just really happy that they did a limited theatrical release and premiere like this. Lin-Manuel deserved to see his film being enjoyed by the people on his field on a theatre. I’m so happy for him
Speaking of glory, this arrangement is GLORIOUS! Can't stop listening---and signing out loud.
I really hope andrew’s acting in this gets all the way to the oscars and win it all! he deserves it
Phenomenal. Watching this crying. Just fantastic.
Netflix, please keep providing this kind of content. We need it.
The talent on that stage. Woah baby. What a gift.

“Everyone who ever has or ever will be anyone will be there..."
People say you get addicted the very first time you do heroine. Well baby, I'm hooked on this tick tock boom movie. The most magnificent thing I've seen in a long time. I had no idea about John and I cry every time I hear actions speak louder than words! I am thrilled to be able to watch this over and over! I adore it and I'm getting the sound track!

This make me so emotional: Lin, Jonathan, musicals, those beautiful singers. Love from Russia 💜
I remember when I first saw the trailer for Tick Tick Boom, and I was bouncing with giddiness. I didn’t know a lot about the musical itself, but I ADORE Rent and have for years and years. And I knew a lot about Jonathan Larson’s story, and the title of this musical. So when I saw the title for it, I knew I was in for an epic musical adventure thanks to Jonathan! What a musical and visual treat!
Whoo wee! They did THAT!!! Gospel "Glory" just moved me to high heavens!!!!
Lin has the same drive that Jon had they are two sides of the same coin and I think had they met they would have loved each other and been the best of friends, Jon had a way of taking the smallest hook and making it an epic moment in his work, Lin does the same and the way they both build their worlds in such a realistic yet fantastical way is magic
