I was there this year, And I remember the feeling when, in prelims, the rifle line caught that first toss on the ramp and you only heard 1 strap clap...the place went CRAZY! Still one of the best shows I had ever seen.
I was there to witness this amazing show several times. Video doesn’t do justice. The full “moment of silence” was completely done without music! Highly difficult! And their skills were top notch! Love that they veiled the face at the end. Earlier in the season they had much more candelabras that I loved, but they took them all out. Regardless, their standing ovations at repeated events was well deserved! Back in 1991, the “floor” was still a new thing. Can’t believe it’s been 30 years!
I remember seeing this show in prelims. I marched with McEachern High from 88 to 91, and we were fortunate enough to go to championships in Dayton that year. Never forgot this show - excellent performance. Kudos, Miamisburg.
