And now here we all are in 2020 as COVID-19 spreads through-out the world. If we normalize by 2021, this is a fantastic show for someone to bring back to the arena. Be well, everyone...stay strong!
I was a junior in high school, and I remember being there in person. I was fairly obsessed with Northern Lights, like a lot of others there. I bought a shirt at their merch area and got every single member to sign it. I still have it and it’s one of my favourite keepsakes. I just watched it all over again. I still remember the audience being completely enthralled and captivated during the performance. Magical ❤️
Fantasia was 1st place that year. I think Pride of Cincinnati was 2nd. I was there, it was all so close. I have a special place in my heart for Northern Lights, though. They were my favorite!
You really are! This is still always my favorite show! I remember being there for this performance! I definitely miss the winter guard life! Can’t believe it’s been about 13 years since I’ve done guard!
Noah Rice I believe this was actually their last season before they folded. I too had never seen an all guy guard at the time and I was so blown away when I saw this guard live. They were absolutely amazing to watch.
Correct, they did fold the year after. They were wonderful. My high school guard loved them. We got to sit through their practice of their show the year before. It was certainly something to remember! I was so sad to hear they broke up after this show. We were there for worlds that year, we're on the left in the audience :)
This is also a awesome show of Northern Light WG, but does anyone have the Northern Lights World Winterguard 2004 show - Road to Perdition, Unfortunally the group doesn't compete anymore, very sad
They cheer for catches, tricks or impactful choreography (like the fouettés in the beginning, the synchronized slap). Pretty typical for guard (and dance as well)
I don't think the guard even knew how much of an impact this program would be. It's 2013 and its still one of the best wgi performances!
2017 and still true
Abraham Moreno 2019?

Such an honor to get to have seen this show live several times throughout the season... One of my all time favorites.

this show had such an impact on society, wow
The bigger question is... WHO THE HELL GOT FIRST IN 2006? WHAT. HOW DID THIS NOT WIN?!
Fantasia was 1st place that year. I think Pride of Cincinnati was 2nd. I was there, it was all so close. I have a special place in my heart for Northern Lights, though. They were my favorite!
+Amanda Donovan Fantasia's was also amazing. But probably my least favorite Pride show, and I felt it should've beaten it.
Hey Vanessa! Have fun doing the whole WGI thing this year and good luck! Thanks for posting this, I feel like a legend!

thanks for posting this vanessa
WOW! this is beautiful
The constant cheering during the dance passages around 3:26 is OBNOXIOUS. You do not have to scream after every single unison move
I've never seen an all guy guard

The really flexible guy is officially bae.
This is also a awesome show of Northern Light WG,

Unfortunally the group doesn't compete anymore, very sad
I heard John Lennon and I was interested
BTW that was before you got your gold
obviously:P
I just dont get what the crowd was screaming for. They fall to or slap the ground and they yell. Were they all drunk

Northern lights cannabis indica
What are the songs name in the first half?
Can someone tell me why this performance is kinda of famous?? I mean they're good but I just wanna know the context I guess
what happen to this guard ..they dont exist no more why is that
Funding, I think. Staff had other projects going on.
I think.
Funding and the director was embezzling money from the bingo hall they had so they folded
