- We're playing the new Tarkov PVE mode in this series. There are many great raids to come!
Simply the format will be 1 raid a day unless the raid is really short and doesn't feel episode worthy! I will try my best to use the entire raid time and min max everything as possible for your enjoyment and a great way to teach you guys the game!

The swarming, the nades, the laser-beaming... the PvE AI is practically as bad as playing against someone who's cheating but trying to hide it.

Meanwhile i am lower on PvE than pvP, cuz everytime i meet some AI, he instantly hs me, i cant even right lcick to ads to aim on him, even Scavs... I wish u had the same shit like i got, 11 raids i died to same shit in a row, i gave up on this garbage

It’s been even worse since this new update with the horrible scav grenades hopefully the patch fixed them by now but I haven’t been on to try it out
Partisan seems to spawn if i stop long enough to loot any filing cabinets because the timer is so low and i think every possible boss and raider spawns everytime but at least the loot is good
4 times in a row now I've spawned on Lighthouse to do some quests (Long Road & the find the studio one) & I take no more than 10 steps before I'm being pummelled by goons.

@@themanmrjones Raiders aren't 100% spawn. I've been farming them on Reserve for Drip Out. It's more like 50%.
Ive been playing PVE lately, and ive yet to survive on groundzero. Ive had massive banger raids 20+ kills in Skyside, Terragroup areas and then I head for my extract in Nakatani or Emercom and there is almost always a scav army of some kind that just overwhelms me.
Oddly, I've had similar high numbers of scavs in that area but I've been able to survive by sniping them from afar to clear the area. Kolontay on the other hand likes to beat the shit out of me there...
Glad its not just me. The first raid I went in on Ground Zero, banged out 15 kills. After that, I just get beamed from down the block. One raid I spawned in, and immediately got beamed by PMC bots from up the street. Was kinda miffed...
That's a fascinating experience. I only just started playing EFT the other week and started with Ground Zero so I could learn gameplay mechanics and map knowledge. I'd say I have a high surival rate on both Ground Zero and Woods with Ground Zero rarely giving me any issues (I do Vehicle Extract most of the times). Customs on the other hard....that's just been a mess for me.
I rarely die to regular scavs, even in large numbers. The swarms mainly prevent me from looting.

Car extract and Mira work better for me generally than the others after cheesing scabs and the occasional pmc ai.
That's why I just started to play spt, the SAIN AI mod is something that vanilla tarkov could benefit from greatly imo

@caletovey4924 yeah, because Niki boi will loose money if ve let's mods kick in.... why he isn't making these mods or add ons? I would love some thick cheeks, or animals roaming and so on... better gun telemetry maybe, etc. But he can't do that so nobody will be allowed. BTW I need help with that big bully Sriracha at Lighthouse map....

One thing that I think could be improved a lot in PVE is that as of now stealth doesn't exist, I was sniping on reserve to get my last 80m+ kill for Jaeger and I killed two pmcs from 200 meters with a silencer on, then a third killed me in the head with 9mm. I don't say that it's impossible but it very unlikely and it happened very quickly as well, spoting someone that is prone at 200m and killing him with no magnified sight is not very fun
agreed. it seems all it takes are two booleans to be satisfied: hasLineOfSight and madeAudibleNoise
If both of those are true, turn on the AI aimbot.
They also seem to completely ignore armor sometimes too lol. nothing like having 1 single round of PB 9mm take you out from across the map through trees that you cant see thru just cause it was fired from an AI. I was taken out via 1 single headshot from behind, helmet returns thru insurance, 100% condition. wtf!?

They need to figure out a way to prevent them from seeing through walls, bushes, trees, etc.
And at increasing distances the likelihood of them seeing you decreases. Especially when behind cover.
Plus they laser beam once locked on.
The only thing I don't like about the AI is that they practically know where you are wherever you are. You can see this when you run scav on Factory in the office building, they will be looking up or down at an enemy PMC who is either above level or below, they will follow their movement even when they aren't on the same ground level as them. Once you aim at an AI you better shoot them or else they sense you in game and will look in your direction.
I spawned into factory as a scav and it spawned me directly in front of an AI BEAR pmc, as soon as I spawned he was in front of me and shot me dead. Scared the shit out of me.
Only problem i'm having is the goons, they' are so cracked
I too have a problem with the goons, the moment they see me it’s 500 tracer rounds near my head then darkness.

youve gotta get cover and let them push YOU, dictate the fight on your terms not theirs. they are VERY easy when you do that, the AI gets bugged and just lets you spray them down. for instance get on skeleton on customs peak stronghold and crack once you hear a wise or two over you head pull back to the porter potties by blue Conex jump threw and they will push threw the fence under silo sniper scav and just mow em down
Hey Pest lvl 60 on my PvE account and already did every long range quest. Most of them I did from the Spine in Woods. Aiming towards the Saw Mill and the camp by the road and where the green smoke extract is(can't remember the name off the top of my head). Just sat up there till about the 20 minute mark and bailed to the vehicle extract where you can encounter 100m plus shots on scavs and pmcs on the way out. Rinse and repeat. Ohh and you obviously get Shturman kills towards the Mojlnir.

PVE has been a great deal of fun for me, sometimes the AI pmcs are ridiculous and beam you from across the map or through objects they shouldn’t be able to see you through. Pest please push BSG to allow modding support! The game could grow immensely if they allowed it

Yup, this wasn't even a bad example of the bots shooting through windows, they can see you in the smallest crack but Pestily shoved his whole torso in the window like a damn target begging to get shot.
Streets of Tarkov is absolutely ridiculous when it comes to the Scavs! You kill one and all of them in the map come running after you and if do manage to survive it you'll be depleted of your ammo quicker than 4-5 my minutes no matter how much ammo you bring! I don't understand why they can't be like they are in PvP jusy stay in the general area where they spawned in
I think there's a happy medium somewhere in between. Scav kill tasks used to take ages with the old pvp system.
Would be boring as fuck are you kidding me? There's like three scavs on the pvp maps. Only thing to do is slay AI in pve.. You don't need that much ammo you need better shooting. Stop spamming entire mags at scavs. 1-4 shots on single does the job every time.
if you mean the area around Zmeskjic Avenue (that computer building where you get the relax room key) then yeah - they continually spawn. Just punch out one way and keep going, don't try loot the bodies.
If you made the scavs as limited and as boring as they are in PVP, it'd be terrible. All for improving their AI and getting the balance right, but the numbers are the only thing that makes it hard.
If pve has shown me anything, its that up until now, BSG had put virtually no work at all into AI. It relied purely on pvp to keep the game challenging. (Except the aim-bot bosses)

Good idea! sounds like you have a plan to beat it. I cut my parsley plants so they can regrow nice and bushy, hopefully more usable. I am thinking about some tomato plants next
@@katinaflat9393 idk what the heck but a friend gave me some random tomato plants she'd found in the corner of her yard, and they've been going gang busters, just massive massive growth and so many of those tiny tomatoes! I believe in you!
I spawned sort of near the Shoreline weather station but I thought it was far enough to avoid the goons. Didn't get shot at by Birdeye as I normally would, so I just made my way away from them to enter the scav compound. Turns out Big pipe and Knight had already triggered and started chasing me. Didn't even hear anything they just beamed me from across the field xD
BRO same happened to me, spawned on shoreline to do some questing, passed by the weather station (about 200 m from it to be safe) and i noticed Knights m4 shooting at me, so i DIPPED. next thing i knew all 3 of the goons were right behind me, got BP and Knight, but birdeye took me out as i was reloading
@@grunk8052 it's fun to abuse their mechanic on maps like customs, but man I have so much trouble fighting them on Shoreline.
Its really rough on labs they just beam you across the map trough 20 windows/ glass walls
I actually had a hard time watching Pest's stream sometimes, because the AI was just slaughtering him with impossible shots instantly. No reaction times. Sniper-like accuracy. Always targeted weak spots in armor like eye slits and the throat. Always knew where he was, even if he was in cover or on the other side of walls. Plus their grenade spam was insane. Throwing ranges like a grenade launcher, accuracy like a laser, no wind-up times just insta-nade. He was basically taking on Skynet, and got his ass handed to him more than once. That he did as well as he did is a testament to how insane he is at the game. Especially with sound being buggy/nerfed and the lighting F'd up so he couldn't see anything half the damn time.
Bro he's got like a 70kd. He's only died like three times so far over the entire pve series. What are you smoking. ?

Me and my pals often die by scavs with 7mm buckshot... like one tap... no matter the distance. It's INSANE.
All I play is PvE now. But scavs spawning in front of me and cracked out scavs one shotting me are becoming more common now that I am high lvl.
I just died to a PVE PMC because of a 5mm PS ammo to the chest, i was wearing a lvl 6 armor, how is that possible ? only one hit
happened to me too, died to one 7.62x39 FMJ to the chest through lvl 6 armor. and it was a frontal shot not side etc.
If daisies offend, you could always push up dandelions after that window incident.
imagine modders being able to resolve AI issues, and improve them to a point where BSG has been trying to play catchup for the last 5 years and made no progress. Oh wait, you dont have to imagine. Its called SPT-AKI!
and on top of that SAIN edits them even further to be better and realistic to players

Even SPT is limited by the inherent ai problems in Tarkov. Its still the same in SPT where if they see you for more that couple seconds they pretty much insta kill you.

Just wish my PC was capable of playing the game this smooth. Being fairly new doesn't help either.
I also play on low fps, and i got pretty good while doing it, but it took like 500-800 hours of playtime. This wipe though i am having some troubles in pvp because of it, mainly because the audio changed.
Previous wipes you can use audio from further away and adjust the situation more to your liking. Now that the range is shorter you will more often have sudden fights with people where you swing on eachother and fps matters more(on top of more casuals going pve instead of pvp so you come across better players on pvp in general).
If you want the best survival advice: only sprint in open areas or when under fire, otherwise always walk so you can hear enemies better
The only thing clapping my cheeks in PVE is Woods because the goons hang out in high loot areas 🤣
Yeah fighting pmc's is like fighting cheaters sometimes because they just know where you are even if you don't do anything to let them know its super lame
My personal bias and experience: In close to mid-range encounters, due to the AI's shouting and the obvious human silhouette, you can kill the AI within the 0.5 to 2 seconds of reaction time given by the AI. However, in mid to long-range situations, if you don't immediately spot the AI and it unfortunately detects you with its radar, or if your gun unintentionally aims at the AI, you're at a disadvantage because the AI is too far away. You won't hear the AI's shout, and on large maps, you're almost in a passive position.
(If you're able to adapt to using thermal imaging goggles for the entire match, you're impressive. I can't do it because it makes my eyes uncomfortable.)
But since I don't like PvP, I'm still continuously playing PvE.

If they just fixed boss spawn rates on PVE it would go back to easy and relaxed mode. It's not actually hard when compared to PVP but running into the goons constantly is oppressive

I gave up on lightouse today, its nearly impossible to get the quests done in the rogue camp. There is no fun anymore, its pure stress an frustration on that map.

i looted partisan boss and his bag disappeared and a white box appeared in the middle of my screen. then i died to a grenade out of literally nowhere 15 minutes into the raid, it wasnt tripwire
I have had the same bug since previous wipe. There is something that triggers the white box while looting/moving equipment on dead bodies. You need to restart tarkov for the box to go away, it stays permanently once it appears and doesn't go away even if you finish raid or go to hideout/other menus.
Don't loot unsearched bags or vests, I had this problem with vest
PVE is tons of fun. However... I wish they fixed the hit reg. Both my friends and I have been shooting scavs/raiders in the head and they aren't dying. Shot a sniper scav on Streets (with CBJ) didn't die. Shot a raider on labs twice in the face with PP (he had no helmet) didn't die then one tapped me.
Bullshit on PVE was difficult/aggravating but I managed to get it done. Had to go straight to 3rd floor from outside stairs. First run, I got pushed by Goons and failed because Goons count as scavs I guess. Second run there was a scav at the top of the stairs in middle of dorms so that one I failed. Third time the charm and they left me alone and I got out skating the edge of map.

hey so i have had problems with the goons spawning constantly when i play by myself and i was wondering if anyone know how to fix that?
nah they just spawn all the time, theres no way to fix it, I think its a percentage based chance something high like 40. I just killed all 3 for the first time on lighthouse.
PvE ai is wild, i got killed through 3 trees and 2 bushes and i couldnt see the mf
if they can make it so bots just don't zoom you thru 10 feets of concrete and 10 bushes it will be fixed ^^

What i would like to know is how a PS 7.62 can pen a lvl 6 plates? I got killed by a pmc and somehow with 4 bullets that he shot at me all 4 managed to pen

I just died to a Scav with a Toz from a neck shot wearing full Gen 4 armour with face mask, he shot me while I was unloading 50 rounds from my Vector into his face and he was walking backwards.

I did 2runs last night trying to do prapor usec camp and 1st run the new tripwire boss was there and beamed me(all I heard was a single bush rustle then pow) next run the goons were in the exact same spot…
outside of shotgun scavs onetapping me from full hp to the left arm the goons are pretty much the only thing that kills me in single player

the quest is to get kills while in pain, and a broken arm is the easiest way.

pve can be just as demanding tbh. pve is fun but i usually have to commit to a wipe of tarkov. so trying to juggle other games and friends makes its hard to commit too that plus arent plus pve. pve would be the more logical option but i enjoy the human aspect. you can voip with people and scav etc... pvp is harder but the social aspect is fun too.

Why do you bring CMS and not survive kits? They give you so much less limb health. Just wondering as I’m relatively new to the game
they are much faster and the limb hp recovery rate isnt worth imo. and using a surv for broken limbs vs a alu splint is idiotic. cms and alu splint all day (8k hr player)

Scav army is a problem and using basically raider/rogues with skins as PMCs is also a problem. A level 1 AI PMC is no different, plus or minus hardware to a water treatment plant guard. EFT devs need to go play some SPT with SAIN and learn what believable AI PMCs look like.

Does anyone know on what to do when your account got banned? I just bought the game with the PvE expansion, I played for an hour and got banned for cheating. I assure that I didnt cheat or anything alike. Support just gives me automated answers, its frustrating, payed 80 bucks, it seems I cant do anything.

Shit was demoralizing, have i gotten this bad, that I get one tapped by a scav? Haven't died to a scav in PVP yet. But PVE ? That shit killed my whole ass vibe
