Don’t forget to drop a huge gun safe into the foundation before the walls go up 👍 just a thought. Build your house around the safe, fits easier that way
At least make sure where you plan to put a gun safe doesnt have any post tension cables in that area so you can drill into the concrete without hitting one.

I know you're super busy with your properties Googan squad your home property farm life, dux , bux and not including new baby and wife and no matter what never ready for a new baby it's hard work but wouldn't change it for the world I'm single dad with two boys (full custody) it's hard but it's worth it... . But you still do awesome videos that are bad ass. Hats off to you brother. Your a good man. Everybody should leave a like to help this man out. And with all money he has made and has, he still is humble and never changed other then for the better and not afraid to get his hands dirty. But for real I do miss the fishing on banks videos pond hopping. But I'll keep watching you always and hope I get to meet you one day and shake your hand. Your a good role model. For others.
Honestly I would put carpet in the blind, the insulate it and put up walls inside to soundproof it and make it warm before ya move it, then brush it in or something to hide it, you are the man I dream to be one day so keep up the good work

Love your videos. I just built a blind this week and used plexiglass as my windows. A tip for future plexiglass projects for you and everyone, use a soldering gun hot tip to melt holes instead of drill bits. Keeps the glass from cracking! 🤟🏻
Looking good. They make pieces to go between the roof and roof frame. I that will close the gaps on the front and back. Caulk the roof panel joints. Fun episode
I recommend you buy yourself a JCB telehandler. Will be a great addition to your farm vehicles. And will be of great use for your projects and around the farm .

Flair that looks amazing the only thing I would use expanding foam in the gaps in the roof to stop any wind get in or rain as there isn't a large over hang of the roofing sheets.
You should definitely use some kind of low odor primer on both sides of the flooring and put insulation under the floor . If I was doing it I would prime all the wood and use insulation . Good Luck guys . I can't wait to see it completed
Maybe throw some rubber weatherstripping around the windows to keep down on the rattle and help keep some of the moisture out. Love the videos man keep up the awesome work!
For the Windows use magnets!! Use VHB (very High Bond) tape (get the 3M brand) and tape the mag to the plexi, then mount the other mag to the underside of the frame "in a bit" so that the window still closes nice and tight

Looks amazing damnnnnn You could put some rubber tubing around the window for insulation and would probably prevent it from rattling with the wind and making noise. Or put a strip of then padding around the frame of where the window closes as well
The update on your new home was perfectly fine, Andrew. You've got lots of things going on even without your new addition to the family. You are entitled to some family time and to simply kick back too. No need to apologize for not keeping us updated on the house build. Like you say, it's mainly dirt work at this stage anyways so it was good to see it at this stage when it's easier to foresee things rather than just a flat plot and having to imagine it all. Maybe that's just me though, lol. Love the blind! It's almost too nice to be sitting out in the sticks uninhabited 95% of the time. I'm so glad you decided not to paint it. The deer will get used to it being out there, won't they? (I don't hunt - wanted to do it someday but broke my back instead.) Honestly though, nice job. Flair you should get some foam board insulation to insulate the blind it would help alot to soundproof it and do plywood walls and ceiling for the blind. That definitely would be one badass blind if you did that.

Flair u might want to put foam down on the floor and black out the interior walls. My father built one like that too and first thing I notice is that it's really loud on the inside. Awesome build

I’d recommend going and buying some cheap carpet for the floor, we have it in our blinds and it helps with sound, heat, and I take my boots off and just chill while hunting, we also have office chairs in them… I would also recommend putting something under it so the pallet isn’t directly on the ground it will make it last longer you could get some of those solid square cinder blocks and level it out

Magnets on the windows. They make some super strong ones. Plus backside sticky foam bead window seal will keep draft out and soften the sound when closing it. Shop in the door window winterizing area they sell seals for various sized gaps. Works good with sealing window gaps and keeping heat inside during - 40 degrees.

Flare your dear blind looks awesome. You should seal the walls with Thompson clear waterproof, or with a flat shellac.

I recommend putting turf in the blind. It will help with the noise of stuff hitting the ground as well as helps with friction. Just little things!
We have built a few of them! And carpet will become your best friend! The walls, and the shooting windows! It will absorb sound and insulate enough!
