- Meet Manoj Kumar, who grew a forest on his land. The forest is spread over one-and-a-half acres on which his modest house stands at Edavanakkad near Kochi.
Manoj has let everything grow on his land like in a rainforest and they grow free of even biofertilizers. It is a rich biodiversity preserve, with different species of plants, trees, birds, and insects.

One of my uncle tried doing the same thing with his land and grew a dense forest here in Dehradun, but after few years -monkeys came in big numbers and captured the whole forest , literally attacking everyone who came there. Unfortunately my uncle had to leave the place in big disappointment as a lot was invested in the whole process.
