I really love this version than the other. It’s this movie that I first saw quickstep that really inspired me. Since then, my wife and I have danced the international standard and accomplished what we wanted. This movie is quite an inspiration!
This is such a lovely movie! I have never been able to watch the American version. There's just no way it can compare and I don't want to see an inferior version of this movie!
I have watched it with my father after my parents got divorced when I was little. He said to me that he wished he could have given me an ending like in this movie and startet crying so I had to cry to. It was very impressing to me how a movie can understand somebody that well without really trying. Well since than I’m in love with it and it kept being one of my favorite movies of all time🥳💕!!!

2人だけで踊るシーンも美しいけど、みんなが出てきて踊りだして大団円という演出が素晴らしい。竹中さんと渡辺さんのダンスもなんか泣きそうになる。

I love this movie. I’ve seen both the Japanese and American versions and I think I have to say the Japanese is my favorite.

I find the Japanese version more warm and charming. It's hard to watch the American version because it leaves out the Japanese cultural influences.

役所さん 格好いい
思い出しますね、S28年頃の思い出です。高卒後の社会の背景は産炭地田川では社交ダンスやスクエアダンスが旺盛でしたね。川崎町に大手の一つの古河大峰炭鉱があり、大峰小には講堂兼体育館、があり福利厚生の一環で時折芸能人を見る機会がありました。江利チエミさんが歌う【テネシーワルツ】は横文字を口ごもっていましたね。
特定曜日はダンス教室？、上手な方のバリェーションを見て覚える事で、観ながら羨望と期待が沸いていたものです。
ホントに上手な方が居ましたから、ただ、見惚れるしかありませんでした。（笑）
笑顔になれます。
短い視聴時間ですが見応えあり、感動をありがとうございました。
探偵さんが尾行している間に、だんだんダンスに引き込まれていくところが面白い。最後ダンスでは探偵の柄本明が華麗に踊っています。
原日出子の妻が柄本明の探偵事務所を訪ねると壁にミア・ファロー主演の映画「フォロー・ミー」のポスターが貼ってある。
この映画は妻の浮気調査を依頼されたトポル演じる探偵が、探偵の枠を踏み出して妻の精神カウンセリングみたいなことを
始めてしまうという映画ですが、周防監督の遊び心を感じました。
