Master is right, Using it inside the box is a complete suicide, if the oponnet is doing a lot of dribbling all it takes is for you to speed jockey in the wrong direction and you'll concede. Complete suicide like master says. You earned my sub. Thanks for the lesson.

The fact that jockey is so bad for me this year made me click this, cause I knew speed jockey is just not it this year, but I thought that’s all we had and have to just deal with it! On the other hand the gas and break in previous years was just bad cause of emphasis, but it seems this year it’s better cause dribbling being better means even defenders will stop quicker and accelerate faster, even with the ice skating gameplay ea has given us

yea noticed this myself, imo in general you have to be really careful with L2 use this year because the even a short wrong use can make your player be slow enough to make an important turn / be able to defend.

Look into tactics it's actually not too complicated
Great toturial. Though dribling is stil OP due to free speedbursts. And on top of that, we have SkillMoves, which is now mandatory, to have a slim chance of being able to stop attackers, or they simply drible trough you, or the ball bounces off on you, and back to them. It's a shitshow.

the problem is my players slide past the attacker whenever i try to tackle, the player switching and anticipation also is hugely against my favor
If you do not use sprint button while defending than the attacker will be gone forever because every time the new player you select takes time to speed up like he is running a mairathan.

I have already talked about advanced defending in another tutorial, it's not a magic button and you still need to learn jockeying my bro
