@Teacher's Tech I am working on a spreadsheet that was created by someone else. I just need to put my info but this message keeps on popping up 1. The value you entered is not valid 2. A user has restricted values that can be entered into this cell What must I do now??
I am beyond grateful for this content you're so generously creating for us, and with such an easy to follow and to the point style as well. Thank you, Jamie!
Jamie, thank you so much for this latest Excel Tutorial. You really do look at our comments and respond. Your lesson on Linking was exactly what I was looking for in a lesson. You do a great job taking it slowly with step by step instructions. I will be posting everywhere so others will use your videos too.
You have been SO helpful! I knew absolutely nothing about excel (well with the exception of small things) now I feel a lot more comfortable. I am still struggling with a few things but I am just always looking for your videos. Please keep doing them, you're the best!
Mind Blown!!!! I have had to work with Excel for my job and thought there had to be short cuts and you did not dissapoint! Thank you so much, I have watched the previous 2 videos as well. You break down all the features and explain them so well. I will continue to watch more!
I have an interview on Thursday and I lied about being able to use Excel, the interview includes an Excel test so if I pass it it's entirely thanks to you!
I am so glad that I came across your Excel videos. I have learned quite a lot from them. I've even told my boss and how easy it is to follow you. Thank you so much for explaining it so well.
This is really great content and I like the pace and depth that you're going into here. I left high school at just the wrong time and missed out on all this education in relation to excel and had to pick things up in the workplace without ever really understanding them or gaining any real insight which I'm now rectifying. Thank you
@@maxwellokorie9636 - as I understand from other videos, many features like flash is only available in using version 16 or newer. 07 is not powerful enough to do this function.
This might be received a bit late but this is one of the best tutorials I've seen. I'm at that point of my life where I realised I missed out a lot and this beginner stuff are a need for my career growth and desire to upskill. The stuff you are teaching were never taught during my hs days, and wasn't important on my chosen degree as well as the career path I initially chose given the amount of technology applied. I appreciate this very much, it's been such a huge help. I agree with everyone this is very in-depth and explained in a manner that can be easily understood. Thank you for this.
I haven’t touched Excel Since school but want to learn it well enough to put on a CV as looking to leave my current job in social care and get something more computer based, you’re aweosme!
Jamie is such a good speaker and his examples are practical and simple to follow. @TeachersTech is probably one of the best tutorial channels on You-tube
Thank So much for making this available. .. I paid money to learn this, and was struggling to grasp it... Until started watching your videos, now I am learning fast. You made it so simple.
This is my first youtube comment EVER! I had to write to say THANK YOU SO MUCH JAMIE for these amazing videos. I'm starting a new job this week and needed a refresh course. These videos are filled with great information and very easy to follow along. I feel very confident after watching your videos that I am back up to speed with Excel.
You are the best my friend!!! Thank you so much. Back in school at 59 attending college for the first time, and your videos have been a Godsend, I'm in your debt:).
Just started watching your beginner excel video tutorials and its great! I wanted to thank you personally for putting this all together to spread excel knowledge. Please keep it up! and God Bless!
I did 6 month Microsoft office certificate 15 years ago and never used it! I am back to update my information, I find your videos very helpful !! thank you so much!!!
What a great teacher you are. I feel so lucky that came upon your youtube by chance. I don't look for excel lessons anymore. I found you and I'm beyond grateful.
great job. you are the best teacher for those that never took excel lessons, like me. with the steps by steps explanations i've learned more than the basic. My first time on excel. thank you very much.
This is great content and I love the way you take it step by step. I love that the pace is steady and progressive. An addition I would like to see is that, at the end of each class, a to do work, or activities or say a task the speaks to the topics discussed in the class can be included. Thank you again for the content.
Best content ever just discovered you . Iam in level up journey trying to catch up on all the things I missed in school. I learnt more here than all these mundane classes I went to 😝.
I have never felt guilty about learning something for free before....you are so exact, to the point, well spoken and detailed that I actually feel guilty that I am getting these videos for free. Name a charity of your choice in a reply to my comment and I will make a donation.

@@TeachersTech: I encountered an annoying issue. Can you please help? I set up my excel spreadsheet and opted to colour fill a range of cells. But I found it obliterated the lines and I kept getting "lost in the sea of numbers", so I reverted to "no fill" to remove the colour. But the cell lines have disappeared and I am still lost in a sea of numbers! Short of using a sticky note to mark my rows, have you any good solution to bring back my lines so I can more easily follow the rows and columns?
@@carolhama4156 - I see this issue was months ago and I hope you got it figured out. But I'll respond anyway since no one else has. Under the LAYOUT tab, there is a section to check for gridlines. Be sure to activate it. You can also use the box feature on the home page - just draw a box around it or underline it on the bottom. Also, is the data in a table already? If not, try that. Or just color in every other line manually. Hope this helps - even late though the effort may be.
