Great idea, but I think this is something that needs to be in retail in order for it to really blow up. This is the type of product you need to be able to just pick up at your local target or Walgreens
U watch too many st episodes
@@praba991ify ok, and??
@@kendall6287and are easily offended
That’s what she was saying when mark asked why do you think the other 75% haven’t reordered
Can’t believe no one asked if it’s waterproof. This is when the real problems start, especially with salt water from the ocean
They didn't ask cus they didn't want to invest in it.
Probably because there's less friction under water
who gets chafing while swimming?
She said it could be worn for 3 to 4 days. People don't go THAT long without showering- If she said 1 or 2, I'd assume it isn't waterproof. The 3 to 4 days and fact it will have to absorb a lot of sweat tells me it's probably somewhat water proof
"I've got a million followers, no one ever said to me; "ohhh I'm chafing!"🤣🤣🤣
I feel like we should all go Comment that on his social media now haha 😂
Am I the only one who saw a whole different market for the product besides the athletic crowd? For God's sake there's hundreds of millions of overweight people who have the same rash problems and she totally blew it by not even thinking about them or mentioning it to the sharks. I've been there and it's so obvious that's where the money is. I really hope that it works out for her...
Dude most people overweight enough to feel like they need this product probably couldnt even walk at all, its a neat concept for sure, but the practicality isnt there, its one time use only, and she even said a few people had mild reactions to it, if it was washable a reusable, that would have helped her case, but not by a whole lot because its still not a million dollar idea, like Mark said, i would just use vasoline because thats what the professionals and everyone else would be using, not the chub rub lol
I do wonder if pants or shorts solve this problem tho
@@mylene_b no if you are overweight, all those areas rub anyway causing friction and no pants or shorts take that painful red irritation away
@@VC-TVyou have no idea how common chub rub is. even people at a “normal” bmi get it. it’s about fat distribution. people who have naturally thick thighs will have chub rub at almost every weight.
you’re partially right though. most will just use vaseline, myself included. that’s definitely the biggest roadblock w this.
@@bunjerabut doesn’t Vaseline get oily and stain your clothes ?
I definitely thought this was solving a different problem..🤣
Sell this to the military immediately please. 😂😂
Saying “embarrassing personal problem “ and showing Kevin
😂😂😂
Hahahah true - also this isn't even embarrassing. I'd kill to have legs that touch. Means you have muscles.
@@anovosedlikor fat
@@anovosedlik I totally agree = thick thighs = you have great stamina and endurance which is both great bonus for health+relationship benefits(?!) haha
I love her smile and how graciously she takes no for an answer . If I were in the market ,I'd need to know why it was superior to vaseline which seems like a very cheap and easy solution and I'd need for it to be sold in value packs since they are only single use .
My immediate intuition is that Vaseline or similar products are greasy and would stain dresses and outfits - plus it’s messy and gets all over everything.
I've been using anti-perspirant gel for years for chub rub. It works great, and I've never felt like I needed a giant bandage for my inner thighs.
Hey she tried!! Good for her :)
I just use dry spray, works all day for me on my longest retail days when I'm walking 10+ miles 👀
2:26 How long have we watched this show to finally hear Robert say it?!😂
I agree with Emma, I think the name could be different. I think the concept is good, and if it actually works, this could be great. I think combining this in those fix-it kits that also contain breast tape, bobby/safety pins, etc. would be cool but the name needs some help
It reminds fat women that there FAT
the name is fine stfu
It’s not a bad idea, but it would need to be something that looks pleasant on bare, visible skin. I’m not sure there’s a solution out there other than a non-glossy cream.
I think Robert is 100% wrong. I could see this working with any kind of sports. So just with that it could HUGE
Good idea. But, you could just wear talcum powder or corn starch powder (not the eating kind) to solve the problem. I'm a firm believer on it. It really gets the job done. Too much rubbing can also create tags so it solves it too. Tags are no fun. For that reason I'm out.
Powder will be washed away from sweat.
@@liberalslayer9831 It absorbs sweat. Thats it job. Thats why people use it if they work out or are just naturally sweaty people. Using it reduces your chances of getting rashes caused by sweat, skin cells, and bacteria. But, ya it does go away. Usually lasts a good 6 hours. You can reapply again.
It never worked for me.
Aren't there lawsuits against talcum powder companies for having caused cancer?
Anyone else find the background music TOO loud...super annoying?
Once I went on a cross country ski trip through the woods and I was wearing tweed wool pants with no lining. I was 16 and am still traumatized by the "chub rub" that was unbearably painful!
When i read the name of the product, i thought... "when did Shark Tank start letting people pitch adult products?"
Lol 😂
Bodyglide works perfectly. Why wear something when you can apply a balm?
Yeah for the most part the chafing is a issue for maybe during a workout or a run or something. This product would be good for something like going to a camping trip on a beach where there is fine sand and chafing has a major issue. But that is something you may be do once every other year.
No. If it's summer and you wear skirts or dresses you need products like this.
Just because _you_ don't need this it doesn't mean that others might.
I don’t suffer from chub rub but I do rub my chub.
😂😂❤❤
I love Mark and how he is open minded and supportive
Cocoa butter does the trick. $10 for a giant tub. Lasts me all day and tub about 4-5 months
I hate how it’s wet though. I’d prefer to wear these patches.
@@stuff1784 If you're fine throwing away money every month then yea, nothing beats this alternative
"An embarrassing personal problem" - and the product is named Chub Rubs 🙄
Cool, I was born there (Ft. Lauderdale… though I grew up in Germany 🇩🇪)
I would honestly buy it except what they said about the name. I mean even rub guard
Yeah exactly
Women: I dated a lot of men who had these problems back in the day
Kevin: you must got a lot of sells
Honestly, I like cornstarch
The lady in yellow is just not doing it for me and for those reasons she should be out of Shark Tank. Where is Barbara 😢
Yes so immature, Im over her…..
She never gets a deal she just there
@@victorvalentinejr9738 I have not seen her other segments yet, in a way your comment just gave me spoilers lol I guess Barbara at least did some amazing stuff for some of the deals she made and it always made me laugh when she was Soooo out.

Love the lunch gang.
So I know a person involved in several businesses and yes, I am trying to be vague there. He will not do business with anybody with a haircut like that and he will not do business with anybody that has visible tattoos if they’re wearing a long sleeve, shirt and slacks or pants. Nor will he do business with anybody that has any piercing that’s not the ears and no males with earrings. He also will not do deals with overweight people. Say what you will, but he just doesn’t trust their judgment. I don’t necessarily agree with him, but it is an interesting thought. It kind of reminds me how Henry Ford wouldn’t do business with anybody who salted their food before they tasted it.
Vaseline is great for chub rubbin 🖐
Does it burn?
@@jonnie5bgood583 Burns so good
😂😂😂
I feel like daymond would have invested in this deal
Here's a commercial for her.
Browns RB Nick Chubb: Do you suffer from chub rub, try these Chub Rub patches and suffer no more.
Moleskin packs in the first aid isle are much less expensive I'm sure.
That's a good concept yet Moleskin is expensive. but you did bring up a good point - people aren't going to leave these things on for up to 3 days? That's disgusting. That's going to cost $9 per use?
I see people wearing shorts under their shorts all the time... to prevent chafing
Hoping her sales blew up after the appearance on Shark Tank cuz it is free publicity after all. I used to chafe a lot (not anymore) but this is a great product for that
Enjoy your lunch everyone!
It’s Saturday. Don’t you mean breakfast?
Im having a dinner
If you read all the comments…..surely a great product…YOU GO GIRL
Interesting............
You’ve inspired me to invent the rub chub ........
Thank you
Can't wait for the Chinese version of this.
Is it sweat resistant?
Ever seen someone perfect fit to help an entrepreneur only to be rejected because she doesnt like you 😂😂😂😂😂 total bs but whatever
Just skip leg day and walk like a cowboy.
For sports it’s kind of useless, because there’s something called spandex underwear like under armor that prevents this. Works for me at least and I used to have this be a problem so…
I love it! I need this!!!❤❤❤
chub rub is a really interesting name
The percentage of repeat customers is low, not a good sign.
So
A large bandaid 😅
Kevins comments are not sane logic - do your followers also tell them when they are going through cancer or have the flu? I’m not sure what his confirmation bias is doing except blinding him
I think the solution to chubrub problem is to wear more modest clothing and lose weight
Think it’s a great idea
Much better if this is washable and reusable. It could become new category of wearables.
Has that British girl EVER even tried for a deal?!?!? Why is she there
She's a leach
Emma Grede that very unprofessional of you. Just because you’re a Shark doesn’t mean your opinion on what grosses you out actually matters here
Vaseline works good. A&D Works great. why would i pay 8bucks for a single use pad? I just don't get it...
shark tank comment section is the best
Has this idea when i was 8 years old. Hope she does well with it
Mark should escalate the idea of contestant being a gold digger when he knew she is raising money for endorsement but he did not
I’ve thought of this idea!!!! 😅😅😅
An embarrassing personal problem? Like having someone in your life that shaves 1/4 of their head?
If Barbra was there she would have tried them on
This episode was brought to you by Vaseline
yellow jacket needs to go, thanks.
It works 😊
Chub rub sounds like a baby product
Does Emma wear anything other than that shiny mustard dress? It's gotta be chafing by now...
No one is going to pay near $10s a time
Rob is crsazy

i’m a bit late, i overslept
Use coconut oil and thank me later 😊
If she works for the WWE, why not get some wrestlers to be influencers? Maybe even ask them to be investors? Especially if they’re using it like she hinted at. Seems like a no brainer
Hit up Browns RB Nick Chubb.

Will The Chub Rub Patch Rub The Sharks The Right Way?
The chub rub must have got stuck on the side of her head
Or you could just use regular skin sensitive tape.
You could also lose weight . . . The Sharks had fun with this presentation but it's clear the target customer is someone who is overweight. This product treats the symptom, not the cause.
You only get chub rub when you exercise. When you exercise you burn calories. When you burn calories, you lose weight. When your thighs are chafing, you are less inclined to exercise, and therefore you are less likely to lose weight.
Fair enough@@bozfoogle
And dumbest comment today .! Goes to you ! CONGRATULATIONS 🎉🎊🎈🍾🙄🙄🙄🙄 even someone who’s super fit and works out their legs touch . Even super thin people LEGS TOUCH.
Just wear pants.
Why is she yelling?
Great idea but why not build the pad into the pantyhose's . Great point young Lady no one every talk's about .God bless !
Seriously? If you are going out to buy products like this just spend the effort to lose weight jfc.
Maybe the people who need chub rub can do a sit up or 2 once in a while. Save a few bucks.
People who work out have oversized thighs that rub together.
If you did a sit up or two you might know that.
You even got 4 thumbs up for this ignorance?
