It's melodic but I honestly think that while it's a great sounding song... the singer described it as a love song when he was on stage and said it was about two completely separate people dying and taken away by the reaper together.

Reaper messed up, so he created a paradise for the boy, but he was lonely. Also, Hansi witnessed two kids die a week apart in the same exact location of each other in a place that this stuff never happens. That's the inspiration. That's the tragedy.
