Its soo satisfying to see your "me made items" because we previously saw all your fabrics and now their all sewn up 😍 your channel is officially one of my favorites!
I absolutely love the black dress!! You are very talented. I am 57 y.o. and trying to start making clothing again. I am a bit nervous, but you inspire me.
There must be something in the air for us 50+ gals. I’ve just started contemplating a return to dressmaking after decades of not doing so. I’ve mainly been quilting but I’m getting ready to make a wrap dress. Good luck with your makes ❤️
I love the white floral shirred dress-it looks beautiful on you. I imagine it paired with a vintage straw hat or something like that. I really love your taste in colors-the rust/oranges in particular.
I have been having trouble finding clothes I like lately (and it's hard to go places to try clothes on anyway). So I'm trying to learn to make my own clothes as well! I have always wanted to, and I'm hoping that I can gradually get good at it. You're really inspiring!
Enjoy late spring and summer in your lovely new dresses. They are all beautiful but my favorite fabric is the vintage bed sheet. In fact, you have inspired me to make a Rosa hack dress out of a duvet cover we no longer use. I am going to make the pullover version of the Rosa dress. I will try to post a photo when I make it.
Too hard to pick a favourite Janelle. You've done an amazing job with all of them and you have special knack on fabric choices and colours for your makes. The button through rayon dress has a real 1950s look and I do love that one too.⚘x
I just purchased my first sewing machine last week and have been binge-watching your channel to learn more. Once I'm ready for it, I'm looking forward to trying out some of your amazing patterns
I couldn't just pick one, bcs all of them is really good dress..i want them all..hehee Especially the black flowers pattern dress..anyway,always enjoy your video..keep safe and health, from your indonesian subscriber 😄🧡🇮🇩
They are all so cute! This is a good reminder to finish my willow dress, it’s been waiting patiently for me to finish the hem for about 2 weeks now oops!
How do you find fabrics that hang so nicely? Is it better to go with lighter materials or ones with a bit more weight? I have attempted to make a couple simple rompers/dresses over quarantine out of old sheets, but they have so far turned out a tad bit potato-sacky.
It really depends on what you’re trying to make! I tend to stick to lighter/flowier fabrics. The bedsheet I used for the willow dress had been pretty worn so had a lovely softness to it 😊
Hello. I was wondering if you have ever made a dress with a denim jacket top (sort of cropped length) and fabric attached skirt. It was an empire waist dress. I had a dress like this once and would love to replicate it but need instructions. Thank you, Melissa
Hey Janelle! I think the long skirt WIllow pattern dress is my favorite, both for the design and the material. Is there a reason your wrap dresses close on the right instead of left as shown on the pattern package?
Absolutely beautiful. The first dress, the linen, is stunning. I love to see pretty, wearable, and feminine dresses on women.

Aw thank you so much! I’m glad you enjoyed it 😄🧡

Me too!!!! I used to sew and concluded it was too old fashioned. Now, clothing is just no longer flattering so I want to make my own!!!

I'm 54. This is really making me want to pull out some fabric and make something that I love. It doesn't have to be in style at our age.
I love the white floral shirred dress-it looks beautiful on you. I imagine it paired with a vintage straw hat or something like that. I really love your taste in colors-the rust/oranges in particular.
I love how well curated your wardrobe is.. You know exactly which colors and fabrics suit you, and everything is kinda color matching, I love it ❤️
Thank you so much! 🧡

@@RoseryApparel I’m sure I will! So far all I’ve tried was sewing a (slightly crooked) hem, but it was perfect to me and I was proud either way lol
These are all so beautiful! My favorite is the first one! I love a linen dress! And the bow in the back! 😍
I love the long sleeved wrap dress. I can’t wait for my pattern to come in the mail. Takes awhile to get to Canada 😅
Hopefully it doesn’t take too much longer!!

I love your work ! I was just wondering if you would share a pattern for the wrap skirt?

Do you think the Willow dress would work as a knit fabric? I have some super fun red floral I want to make it from but wanted your opinion!
I haven’t tried it with knit fabric, but I think it should work fine! 😊
Always love your videos. :) Keep it up!
