Hey everyone, did you like this video, do you want to see more videos like this? Leave a comment with your thoughts. Also if you have a remake course you like me to play, leave your course ID in the comments. If the level is good I may possibly showcase it on my channel. Examples of good games to remake would be games like Mario, Cuphead, Metroid, Sonic, Zelda, Donkey Kong, Kirby, MegaMan, Castlevania & Contra.

8:08 Charvaargh appeared in Super Mario World, and if those dinosaurs that jump out of lava are called differently, then they appeared in Super Mario Galaxy
@@christianfrost8660 Those people made Newer SMB to tell Nintendo how they could be creative with the subseries (yet they aren't -- they simply stopped doing 2D Mario games altogether). My point stands
@@neypaz8054 No your point is that Nintendo theorises that people weren't interested in NSMB so only added one enemy from that franchise to the game. If that was the case, then why bother with adding NSMB style in the first place? I am guessing that you never make or play NSMB levels in the game.
@@christianfrost8660 I made 24 NSMBU levels in SMM2 (I can give you some codes if you'd like to try them), and have 7 downloaded in the Coursebot. So it has nothing to do with how I feel towards the subseries (heck, I'd LOVE to see Bramballs or Grrrols added as enemies). However, even I can be critical towards those games when I have to, mostly NSMB2 and U because of how little they add to the series. Since Nintendo caught wind of the players' criticisms aimed at the subseries, they opted to bring back more enemies from the classic 2D games in order to appeal to fans of the older games. As for why they added NSMBU as a game style, it's because despite criticisms they sold very well and are the most up-to-date iteration of 2D Mario gaming (even Super Mario Run is based on their template). Also, notice how the majority of Koopalings have been designed in the style of NSMB Wii (Ludwig flutters and attacks from the air, Roy plays whack-a-mole with you, Morton performs powerful ground pounds), so even if there's only one enemy brought directly from the subseries, those games still influenced Mario Maker 2 in other ways.

smb3 released in 1988 and smw released in 1990
23:57 Ah yes, SMB2
Wow I'm surprised the goombrat is so new. You would think a goomba that doesn't walk off ledges is something they would have done sooner
The fire clown car didn't exist before Mario maker? I am surprised by that
To be fair Bob-Omb actually debuted in Doki Doki Panic 😉 Phanto and Pokie too.
True; first SMB2 version
And pokey and shy guy
Coincidentally, Doki Doki Panic also had Mario's POW Block, Starman (different song was but same effect), and the Coins including its sound.
@@hectorcollazo8845 the POW block actually originated in Doki Doki.
@@GlamMetalUnderground shy guy's not in Mario Maker.
Actually there was something that looks and acts very similar to the Charvaargh in Super Mario World on SNES
That would be Blargg.
@@DarkLordChaos ah ok but isn't it the same concept?
And there's also those ones in Mario galaxy 2
@@gferrol118 i had forgotten about that but the snes one is first anyway

Anyone notice that the NSMBWU/SM3DW version of the Angry sun doesn't appear to be very angry?
There is no angry sun in SM3DW
@@acornwithatwist I know, I'm talking about in MM2 in NSMBWU/SM3DW themed levels.
Phanto's place is swapped in the thumbnail. You can tell because the SMM2 sprite is colourfuo
Yeah and the shadow
Hola
I want fire bro in other styles
Hiiiiiiiiiiii!!!!!!!
5:54 I really wanted to know from where this song was thx
8:08 Charvaargh appeared in Super Mario World, and if those dinosaurs that jump out of lava are called differently, then they appeared in Super Mario Galaxy
Super Mario Galaxy, and Super Mario World ones are different named fire enemies
15:37 wasn’t koopa’s debut in the mario bros game from 1983?
Those were Shellcreepers. =)
@@neypaz8054Yeah Shellcreepers

Nice
Bloopers use súper Mario bros 1?
There will be fire bar in DLC because there is in the Super Mario 3D World Game
I mentioned in the previous video, but, they both highlight just how little respect the SMM2 team had for the NSMB series, 1 enemy, 1.
Maybe they realized that many people got tired of the NSMB series, after so many sequels
@@neypaz8054 Oh please. Not everyone feels that way. Look at the people who made Newer Super Mario Bros.

You got the Phanto mixed up in the thumbnail. The SMB2 one lacked shadows.
You missed Jelectro, which first appeared in SMB3. Otherwise, great list!
Was it really necessary to do the whole bowser fight
Actually Koopa Troopa snd Spiny were in the original Mario Bros. for arcade.
