On a serious note. Sasuke is one of the best written characters in Naruto. A tormented child. Influenced from the only person he looked up to as a child. The only thing he knew was hatred and revenge. Imagine finally accomplishing getting revenge and finding out that you made a huge mistake and followed the wrong path your whole life. I'd lose it.. idk about you. He is just so realistic. So imperfect. A truly great character.

First off, Kishimoto did not say that unless you can give me a link to an interview with direct quotes and solid proof. Secondly, Madara can also use Izanagi... It was even said that he did it when he faked his death against Hashirama. Lastly, we don't know Itachi's full potential... He breezed through every fight he was in, and never showed any actual signs of trouble, except against Sasuke when he was on the verge of death. He could be as strong as Edo Madara, or as weak as Danzo... Well, not really, but, yeah... We don't know the full extent of his abilities, so no conclusions. Itachi may be a certified badass, and he earned that title, but he's not invincible. Madara is in a completely different league.
